Refrigerator with variable fluid dispenser
A variable fluid dispenser for a refrigerator utilizes a variable control suitable for varying the rate of fluid dispensing by the dispenser. In some instances, the variable control may include a rotary control actuator that varies the fluid dispensing rate of the variable dispenser, and in some instances, the variable control may include a variable control actuator movable between a range of positions that includes a home position at which the variable dispenser is deactivated. In such instances, movement of the variable control actuator away from the home position both activates the variable dispenser to dispense fluid and increases the fluid dispensing rate of the variable dispenser.
Water prefilling assembly for use in a refrigerating appliance
A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.
REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed is a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a body which includes a storage compartment, a door which opens and closes the storage compartment and includes a dispenser, a water tank case disposed in the door, a water tank separably mounted in the water tank case, a water level sensor configured to sense a water level inside the water tank when the water tank is mounted in the water tank case, and a water tank valve configured to guide water supplied from a water supply source to the dispenser or the water tank and to prevent water from being supplied to the water tank when the water level sensor senses that a certain amount of water is stored in the water tank.
Domestic appliance having a PEF unit
A domestic appliance includes at least one PEF unit having at least one pair of electrodes and a network part for supplying the electrodes with an operating voltage. The operating voltage is of a suitable magnitude to expose material in a space between the electrodes to an electrical field having a field strength of at least 500 V/mm, and the duration of the exposure is short enough to avoid a breakdown. A water pipe extends through the space. A spacing between the electrodes is a maximum of 3 mm.
WATER STORAGE DEVICE AND REFRIGERATOR HAVING THE SAME
A water storage device and a refrigerator, the water storage device comprising: a housing having a water inlet end and a water outlet end, and a water distribution plate. The water distribution plate divides a water storage cavity into a water inlet cavity and a water outlet cavity; a gap for allowing water to flow through is provided between the outer edge of the water distribution plate and the inner wall of the housing; when the water distribution plate moves from the water inlet end towards the water outlet end, water entering the water inlet cavity from the water inlet end will not mix with cold water in the water outlet cavity.
Cover plate for a household appliance and household appliance and method for assembly of a cover plate
An integral or one-piece cover plate for a household appliance includes at least one integrated cable duct for an electrical cable, which is constructed to be open to a top side of the cover plate in the circumferential direction about a longitudinal duct axis. The cover plate additionally has at least one hose duct for a hose. A household appliance and a method for assembly of a cover plate are also provided.
REFRIGERATION WATER DISPENSING SYSTEM
A water dispensing system for a refrigeration appliance includes a three-way connector operably coupled to an inlet water source and configured to direct incoming water from the inlet water source into an ambient water holding portion and a cold water tank. A water dispenser is coupled with said refrigeration appliance. A three-way control valve is configured to provide water to the water dispenser from at least one of the ambient water holding portion and the cold water tank. A valve actuator is slidable between first, second, and third positions. The three-way control valve is configured to provide water from the ambient water holding portion when the valve actuator is in the first position, from the cold water tank when the valve actuator is in the second position, and from both the ambient water holding portion and the cold water tank when the valve actuator is in the third position.

REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a main body that defines a storage space, a door configured to open or close the storage space, and a dispenser located in the door and configured to dispense cooled water and purified water. The refrigerator also includes a purified water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the purified water, a cooled water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the cooled water, and a dispensing amount input part that sets an amount of purified water to be dispensed based on the purified water being selected through the purified water input part. The refrigerator further includes a filter device located within the storage space to purify water supplied from a water supply source, and a water tank storing water that has passed through the filter device in a cooled state.
