A refrigerator appliance and extraction is provided herein. The extraction fluid assembly may include a fluid tank, an open container, a filter assembly, a dispenser housing, and a precision doser. The fluid tank may define an extraction chamber to receive a liquid solvent. The open container may be selectively disposed on the fluid tank to hold an additive within the extraction chamber. The filter assembly may be positioned beneath the fluid tank along a vertical direction in fluid communication with the extraction chamber. The dispenser housing may support the filter assembly. The dispenser housing may also define a dispensing chamber positioned beneath the filter assembly in fluid communication therewith. The precision doser may be in fluid communication with the dispensing chamber to direct an extraction fluid therefrom.

A modular water storage tank, for a refrigerator, includes a hollow storage body comprising a first body member having first and second open ends, the first open end comprising a first male extension having a first connection member on an outer surface thereof. A female end cap comprises a second connection member on an inner surface thereof that is configured to engage with the first connection member to secure the female end cap to the first open end. A male end cap comprises a second male extension having a third connection member on an outer surface thereof that is configured to engage with a fourth connection member disposed on an inner surface at the second open end of the first body member to secure the male end cap to the second open end of the first body member.

The present invention relates a water tank assembly for use in a refrigerator comprising a compartment for fresh food, a water dispenser and/or an ice making apparatus, two side by side extendable drawers in the compartment, a lower plate underside of the extendable drawers and two outer guiding members for slidably supporting the extendable drawers respectively from their outer sides. The water tank assembly comprises a water tank. The water tank assembly of the present invention further comprises a casing for installation between the extendable drawers and onto the lower plate, wherein the water tank is disposed into the casing.

WATER PREFILLING ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A REFRIGERATING APPLIANCE

A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.
