A refrigerator includes: a cabinet in which a refrigerating compartment is provided; a first door connected to the cabinet to open and close the refrigerating compartment and having an opening; a housing provided in the first door and accessible through the opening therein; an ice making room provided in the housing; a storage room that is provided below the ice making room and maintained at a temperature different from that of the refrigerating compartment; a guide duct provided below the ice making room to guide discharge of ice; a second door connected to the first door; a dispenser disposed on a front surface of the second door; and a discharge duct provided in the second door, wherein, when the second door is closed, the guide duct communicates with the discharge duct, and ice made in the ice making room is discharged to the dispenser.

A system can include a fluid tank for a refrigeration appliance. The fluid tank can include a plurality of chambers. Each chamber of the plurality of chambers can include an inlet port and an outlet port. At least part of the outlet port can be on a horizontal plane that is offset in an upward direction with respect to the inlet port. At least two chambers of the plurality of chambers can be fluidly coupled in series.

A refrigerator appliance includes a cabinet with a food storage chamber defined in the cabinet. The refrigerator appliance also includes a door rotatably mounted to the cabinet. The door includes an outer surface and an opposing inner surface, wherein the inner surface faces towards the food storage chamber when the door is in the closed position and the outer surface faces away from the food storage chamber when the door is in the closed position. The refrigerator appliance also includes a dispenser assembly with a plurality of liquid sources fluidly coupled to the dispenser assembly and a multi-fluid tube. A refrigerator includes a main body that defines a storage space, a door configured to open or close the storage space, and a dispenser located in the door and configured to dispense cooled water and purified water. The refrigerator also includes a purified water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the purified water, a cooled water input part that inputs a command for dispensing the cooled water, and a dispensing amount input part that sets an amount of purified water to be dispensed based on the purified water being selected through the purified water input part. The refrigerator further includes a filter device located within the storage space to purify water supplied from a water supply source, and a water tank storing water that has passed through the filter device in a cooled state.

A fluid delivery system for an appliance includes a fluid line in selective communication with a fluid source. A shelf defines a fill zone positioned below an underside of the shelf. A shelf spigot is coupled with the fluid line and disposed proximate the underside of the shelf and over the fill zone. A fluid level sensor is positioned in communication with the fill zone. The fluid level sensor is also in communication with a controller that regulates a flow of fluid through the shelf spigot.

In one embodiment, a refrigerator comprises a plurality of ice makers configured to generate ice, a valve part configured to adjust a supply of water to each of the plurality of ice makers, and a controller configured to control the valve part, and when receiving a request for a supply of water to an ice maker of higher priority while water is supplied to an ice maker of lower priority, the controller controls the valve part to cut off the supply of water to the ice maker of lower priority and supply water to the ice maker of higher priority.

A refrigerator having a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment, the refrigerator including an icemaker provided at the freezer compartment door configured to open/close the freezer compartment, a dispenser provided at a refrigerator compartment door configured to open/close the refrigerator compartment, and a water tank provided at the refrigerator compartment door, the water tank having an inlet through which water is introduced into the water tank, a first outlet for supplying water to the dispenser, and a second outlet for supplying water to a pump, wherein the pump is configured to pump water from the water tank to the icemaker.

A refrigerator water dispenser includes a shelf having a lower surface. A water dispenser tube is disposed adjacent to the shelf for dispensing water into a container. An actuator support is operably coupled to the lower surface of the shelf. A load cell is disposed on the actuator support, wherein the load cell sends a signal in response to movement by the actuator support. A controller is operably coupled to the load cell, wherein the controller activates a water dispensing sequence to dispense water via the water dispenser tube in response to the signal from the load cell.

The present invention provides a refrigerator having a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment, the refrigerator including an icemaker provided to the freezer compartment or a freezer compartment door configured to open/close the freezer compartment, a dispenser provided to a refrigerator compartment door configured to open/close the refrigerator compartment, a water tank provided to the refrigerator compartment door, the water tank having an inlet for putting in water and an outlet for supplying water to the dispenser, a pump configured to send the water supplied from the water tank to the icemaker, and a slide cap movably provided to the water tank so as to be selectively coupled to a passage connected to the pump.

The refrigerator includes a main body in which a storage compartment is formed, a door to open and close the storage compartment, and an ice maker provided on the door to generate ice, wherein the ice maker includes a frame having a water container mounting part, an ice making tray provided on the frame and in which ice is generated, and a water container detachably mounted on the frame to supply water to the ice making tray, and wherein the water container is configured such that at least a portion of the water container is opened when mounted on the water container mounting part.
