Spill containing refrigerator shelf assembly
The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.
Refrigerator and shelf thereof
A shelf comprises a shelf plate and a rack connected to the shelf plate pivotally and rotating between a folded position adjacent to the shelf plate and an unfolded position apart from the shelf plate. The shelf further comprises a rotary assembly connected with the shelf plate and the rack and enabling the rack to have at least two unfolded positions, such that the angle and a height at which the rack is fixed may be regulated as required, thereby meeting requirements of placing the bottles and beverage bottles of different sizes, and increasing universality and flexibility of application of the shelf.
Shelf assembly for appliance
A shelf assembly for a refrigerator includes a frame assembly having front and rear frame members with respective front and rear channels. A panel includes first and second ends, wherein the first end is fully received in the front channel, and further wherein the second end is partially received in the rear channel. A spacer assembly includes a spacer member and one or more clip members extending upwardly from a base portion. The clip members are clipped to mounting apertures disposed on the second portion of the rear frame member. The spacer member is received through a receiving aperture disposed through the rear frame member. The spacer member extends into the rear channel and engages the second end of the panel when the spacer assembly is clipped to the rear frame member to retain the panel in the channels of the front and rear frame members.
REFRIGERATOR TUCK SHELF WITH FLUSH PROFILE AND CO-INJECTED FIXED GLASS
A refrigerator shelf includes a frame having laterally spaced first and second side members, each with respective first ends. A first substrate is received between the first and second side members, defines a first edge, and is directly supported on the first and second side members so as to be moveable along the first and second side members between an extended position with the first edge adjacent to the first ends of the first and second side members and a tucked position with the front edge spaced away from the first ends.
TRIM ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE SHELF
An appliance includes a cabinet that has an inner surface. A frame is coupled to the inner surface of the cabinet. The frame includes a frame boss that extends from a bottom surface thereof. A panel is positioned within the frame. The frame extends along a perimeter of the panel. An inner trim member has a flange that extends therefrom. The flange defines an aperture configured to align with the frame boss. A fastener is configured to extend through the aperture and engage the frame boss to couple the inner trim member with the frame. An outer trim member is disposed over the inner trim member. The inner trim member is configured to slidably receive the outer trim member.
U-SHAPED TUCK SHELF
A refrigerator cabinet including a first shelf defining a U-shape, wherein the U-shape is off-center so that a first side of the U-shape is wider than the an opposite, second side of the U-shape, a second U-shaped shelf having left, right and back portions located in a horizontal fashion above the first shelf, and a mounting structure for supporting the first and second U-shaped shelves.
Domestic appliance device
A domestic appliance device, particularly a domestic refrigerator device, has at least one appliance body with at least one a rear wall, at least one shelf unit, and at least one retainer unit provided for retaining the shelf unit. In order to improve properties with respect to advantageous shelf unit retention, the retainer unit has at least one retainer element whose main extension direction extends, in at least one operating state, at least substantially parallel to the rear wall and at least substantially in a horizontal direction.
Refrigerator with a shelf
A refrigerator includes at least one compartment having an open face. A closure is movable relative to the open face to selectively close the open face. At least one glass shelf is provided within the compartment. The at least one glass shelf has an upper surface. A contour can at least partially bound an area within the upper surface.
Refrigerator tuck shelf with flush profile and co-injected fixed glass
A refrigerator shelf includes a frame having laterally spaced-apart first and second side members, defining opposite first and second ends defining first and second portions of a front edge profile of the refrigerator shelf, respectively. A medial member extends between the first and second side members at respective locations between the first and second ends. A first substrate is received between the first and second side members, defines a first edge, and is moveable between an extended position with the first edge adjacent the first ends of the first and second members and a tucked position with the front edge spaced away from the first ends. A trim member extends along an edge of the second substrate and defines a third portion of the front edge profile that is aligned with and physically engages with the first and second portions when the second substrate is in the extended position.
