REFRIGERATOR
The refrigerator of the present disclosure allows sufficient air flow to a detection sensor by allowing the detection sensor to be located on an air discharge side of a blowing fan to determine a frosting degree or a defrosting degree of a cooling source.
Refrigerator and refrigerator door assembly
A refrigerator wherein a front part of a storage chamber opens; and a door assembly is rotatably coupled with a main body, and configured to open and close the open front part of the storage chamber, wherein the door assembly includes a door plate including a front plate and a side plate bent in a rear direction from both side edges of the front plate, wherein a bent portion is formed in an upper end of the front plate, a door cap is configured to cover a top of the door plate, wherein a gripping groove is formed between the door cap and the bent portion, the griping groove opening in a up direction; and a door cap support includes a coupling portion coupled with the door cap, and is fixed at the bent portion such that the coupling portion is positioned behind the bent portion.
Two-plane door for refrigerator compartment
In a refrigeration appliance, an enclosure or container defines an enclosed space. A two-plane door forms a portion of the container. The two-plane door opens along one pivot axis and allows access to the enclosed interior space. The container can be a thermally insulated in-door ice compartment of a refrigerated appliance. One example is a bottom freezer style, with the in-door ice compartment in the cold food section of the appliance.
Refrigerator with easy access drawer
A bottom mount refrigerator is provided with a pantry compartment that is accessible from outside the refrigerator by pulling open an easy access pantry drawer without the need to first open the fresh food compartment or the freezer compartment. A divider between the pantry compartment and the fresh food compartment is formed by a secondary mullion and a transparent shelf. The secondary mullion is provided with a light source for illuminating the contents of the pantry drawer. A light source at the rear of the pantry compartment shines generally forwardly and upwardly to illuminate the fresh food compartment.
Adjustable refrigerator compartment and door assembly
A refrigerator includes an interior compartment having an adjustable interior volume operable between first and second volumetric settings and a number of intermediate settings provided therebetween. A door is pivotally coupled to the interior compartment and operable between open and closed positions relative to the interior compartment. The door includes a moving member that is slideably coupled to a fixed member. The moving member is operable between extended and retracted positions with respect to the fixed member, such that the door is an expandable door configured to cover an open front portion of the interior compartment as the interior compartment moves between various volumetric settings.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator may include a cabinet and a drinkable liquid dispensing system. The cabinet may include chilled cavity, insulation surrounding the chilled cavity, and a door by which the chilled cavity is opened and closed. The chilled cavity may include a reservoir configured to store liquid provided thereto from an external liquid source for chilling in the chilled cavity. The drinkable liquid dispensing system may include dispenser tubing and a liquid dispenser. The dispenser tubing may be configured to transport the chilled liquid from the reservoir to the liquid dispenser. An insulated portion of the dispenser tubing may be positioned between the chilled cavity and the insulation. The liquid dispenser may be positioned within the door and configured to dispense the chilled liquid transported thereto by the dispenser tubing upon request.
Cabinet reinforcing assembly
A refrigerating appliance includes a cabinet including an outer wrapper defining opposing first and second sidewalls, a rear wall coupling the first and second sidewalls, and an inner liner. An insulating cavity that is under vacuum is defined between the outer wrapper and inner liner. A trim breaker forms a seal between the outer wrapper and the inner liner. A mullion extends across an access opening. A mullion bracket extends across the access opening where the mullion bracket includes first and second ends having engagement portions coupled with an exterior surface of the outer wrapper. A pair of recesses on the exterior surface of the outer wrapper provide corresponding gaps between the first and second ends of the mullion bracket and the first and second sidewalls, respectively.
Connector assembly for vacuum insulated structures
A connector assembly includes a base plate that defines a fill opening and an aperture. A fill tube is coupled to a first side of the base plate. The fill tube is aligned with the fill opening. A radial flange is coupled to a second side of the base plate. The radial flange extends around the fill opening. A toggle magnet is coupled to the first side of the base plate proximate to the aperture. The toggle magnet is operable between an activated state and a deactivated state.
Refrigerated device with door open sensor fault identification
A refrigerated device includes a compartment including an access door. A refrigeration circuit for cooling the compartment includes an evaporator coil with an associated evaporator fan and a condenser with an associated condenser fan. A temperature sensor is provided for indicating a compartment temperature within the compartment. A controller is configured to: (i) monitor the compartment temperature in order to approximate a number of door openings, (ii) compare the approximated number of door openings to a data point and (iii) take a control action based upon a certain result of the comparison.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator is provided including a main body having a storage chamber, a door coupled with the front surface of the main body, to open or close the storage chamber, and a case having a rear surface facing the rear surface of the door the front part of the case having an opening. A door guide is in the case. A sliding apparatus enables the door guide to slide to be inserted into or pulled out of the case through the opening and includes a guide rail at a bottom of the door guide, an inclined guide portion in the case to guide the guide rail, a fixing rib at the rear end of the guide portion including a streamlined shape at the front end of the fixing rib and a supporting rib in the door guide supported by the fixing rib to prevent the door guide from moving.
