Modular coolroom system and coolroom modules therefor
A transportable coolroom module is provided including a base frame and a coolroom structure mounted on the base frame, wherein the coolroom structure includes a floor, a plurality of walls each extending above the floor, and a roof supported by the walls. At least one access door may be provided in at least one of the walls, and at least one removable infill panel may be provided in at least one of the other walls. The removable infill panel may be attached to the coolroom structure. The transportable coolroom module may be used as a stand-alone coolroom. The at least one removable infill panel may be selectively removed from the coolroom structure and the transportable coolroom module may be selectively interconnected with one or more other like transportable coolroom modules to create a larger combined coolroom environment.
Refrigeration and Freezer Pot
This present application relates to a portable consumer convenience appliance that uses refrigeration coils to cool or freeze a consumer food product. The appliance of the present invention has an outer supporting base and an inner removable container made from ceramic. The outer base has an integrated refrigeration unit, and the inner container may be filled with a food or beverage. The refrigeration coils of the integrated refrigeration unit are used to chill or freeze the food or beverage stored in the inner container until consumed.
HYBRID COOLING STORAGE DEVICE
A hybrid cooling storage device, including a main body to store at least one item therein, a lid pivotally disposed on at least a portion of the main body to cover an interior portion of the main body, and a hybrid cooling unit disposed on and within at least a portion of the main body, including a liquid conduit disposed within at least a portion of each side of the main body to transport a liquid therein, a conduit connector connected to a first end and a second end of the liquid conduit to dissipate heat from the liquid received from the liquid conduit, a peltier plate disposed on at least a portion of the conduit connector to create a difference in temperature between a first side and a second side of the peltier plate, such that the first side is cold and the second side is hot, a heat sink disposed on at least a portion of the peltier plate to dissipate heat generated on the peltier plate, and a fan disposed on at least a portion of the heat sink to extract heat from the heat sink via a rotation of the fan.
PORTABLE FREEZER MODULE
Disclosed is a portable freezer module (30) for displaying and dispensing frozen edible products. The module comprises a case (32) and a duct (36). The case (32) comprises an insulated container having an interior space (33) for containing the frozen products, and an active cooling system for cooling the interior space and having a hot end (31) and a cold end (35). The duct (36) extends from the hot end (31) of the active cooling system of the case to a heat exhaust outlet (38). The module (30) is configured such that the case (32) can be removably sited in a presentation space (24) of a chill cabinet (20) with the heat exhaust (38) of the duct (36) positioned outside of the presentation space (24). The duct (36) is a hollow tube free from refrigerant conduits, electrical cables and other electrical equipment.
Method and system for controlling use of a portable cooling container
An illustrative example method of controlling use of a portable cooling container includes determining at least one characteristic of an amount of use of the cooling container. The at least one characteristic is determined by at least one of a processor at a location remote from the cooling container and a container controller of the cooling container. A relationship between the at least one characteristic and continued use of the cooling container is determined. An indication to a user of the cooling container is provided regarding continued use of the cooling container based on the determined relationship.
PORTABLE COOLER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Protection device that promotes air flow for heat transfer
A portable fluid transportation enclosure can include a specimen carrier within a portable container that can be transported portably by a user. The carrier can define one or more specimen bores therein, where each specimen bore can be configured to receive a specimen therein. Such a gyroid shaped carrier within a container can improve heat transfer between specimen supported by the carrier and can help to limit shock transferred to the specimen within the carrier, such as from an impact to the container in which the gyroid carrier is located.
Retrofit Peltier device for cooler
A Peltier system can be retrofit to a standard cooler. A thermal conductive material passes between the cooler lip and the lid to provide a heat pipe communicating between opposed Peltier devices, a first device positioned within the cooler and pumping heat into the heat pipe and a second device positioned outside the cooler and removing heat from the heat pipe.
Trunk cooler
A trunk cooler removably connected under a seat of a vehicle, the trunk cooler including a base cooler receptacle to store at least one item therein, a plurality of retractable legs disposed on a bottom surface of the base cooler receptacle to support the base cooler receptacle in response to moving the plurality of retractable legs from being retracted in a first vertical position to at least partially extended in a second vertical position, and a cooling system to inject cold air into an interior portion of the base cooler.
Portable cooler with active temperature control
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
