An apparatus for temperature control comprises a portable housing configured for delivery of items, an insulated storage compartment in the portable housing and configured to hold a plurality of items during a transport of the portable housing, a temperature control device configured to affect the temperature inside the insulated storage compartment, and a host coupler configured to couple with a host temperature control system to allow the host temperature control system to affect the temperature inside the insulated storage compartment. Wherein the temperature control device is configured to affect the temperature inside the insulated storage compartment without the host coupler being coupled to the host temperature control system.

Locker assembly and associated insert assembly for a cabinet

A locker assembly insert (10) for a cabinet (11) (shown in phantom). In this case the cabinet (11) is a two door cabinet having a first door (12) and a second door (13) (these doors are shown open in FIG. 4), The cabinet has a base (14) opposite sides (15) (and 16), a back (17) and a top (18). A central mullion (19) having a rear cover plate divides the cabinet (11) down the middle and the doors (12) and (13) close the cabinet. The locker assembly insert (10) in this case is applied to a two door cabinet and has a central support member (20) (which is put in place by first removing the rear cover plate behind the central mullion (19), the rear cover plate is tucked in behind the central support member (20) before assembly allowing it to be reused if the refrigerator is ever restored to its original condition), a pair of vertical side rails (21) and (22), a pair of bases (23) and (24), a pair of tops (25) and (26). This gives the basic door frame. The insert is completed using vertical divider sets (27, 28 and 29) and ten door locker door assemblies (30) and (31).

Single air passageway and damper assembly in a variable climate zone compartment

A refrigeration appliance including a partition that defines a through passage between an upper compartment and a lower compartment. A temperature control system is positioned in the upper compartment and includes an air passage. A lower inlet opening extends through a front surface of the vertical partition to the air passage. A damper assembly includes a door that is moveable between a first position and a second position. When the door is in the first position the door fluidly isolates the through passage in the partition from the upper compartment while allowing the lower inlet opening in the vertical partition to fluidly communicate with the air passage in the vertical partition. When the door is in the second position the door fluidly isolates the lower inlet opening from the air passage while allowing the through passage to fluidly communicate with the upper compartment.

The present invention (1) relates to a folding and portable refrigerated cabinet comprising a locked-compartments structure, made up of the reversible combination of three elements:—a plinth,—a folding exterior structure positioned on the plinth,—a folding interior structure with compartments set into the exterior structure, the plinth containing a refrigeration unit, the folding exterior structure comprising a hermetically sealed facade closed by a refrigeration door, the other sides being covered with a removable isothermal insulation means (4), the folding interior structure with compartments being made up of at least one module comprising walls delimiting at least one closed volume inside the folding exterior structure, said closed volume constituting a compartment (24, 25, 26, 27) provided with a mobile partition allowing the volume of the compartment to be varied as two sub-compartments (24′/24″, 25′/25″, 26′/26″, 27′/27″), each of said compartments and sub-compartments being closed by a door comprising a secured-access means.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a main cabinet including a cooling device to generate cold air, a sub-cabinet detachably connected to the main cabinet, a cold air relay duct provided to connect the main cabinet and the sub-cabinet and having a cold air flow path to allow the cold air generated by the cooling device to be delivered to the sub-cabinet, and a heat blocking member provided in a portion of the cold air flow path at which the main cabinet and the cold air relay duct are connected and in a portion of the cold air flow path at which the sub-cabinet and the cold air relay duct are connected.

REFRIGERATOR

A modular refrigerator includes a plurality of modules with at least one cooling unit module and at least one refrigeration module. The at least one cooling unit module and the at least one refrigeration module are independently constructed and secured to one another. The at least one refrigeration module may include at least a first refrigeration module and a second refrigeration modules. The at least one cooling unit module may be a common cooling unit module for selectively providing a refrigerant to the first and second refrigeration modules.

Transport box, in particular for partially prepared meals
11655094 · 2023-05-23 · ·

A transport box, in particular for partially prepared meals and food, includes a lower part having a receiving space limited by lateral walls and at least one base. The receiving space can be sealed by a cover. The cover has a coolant space for receiving a coolant. In addition, the lower part (11) has two receiving spaces. The receiving spaces can be sealed by a respective cover. The covers can be arranged in two cover positions sealing the receiving space. The cover positions differ in terms of a cooling effect that can be achieved by the coolant, such that the transport box offers at least two different options for temperature control via the selection of the cover positions.

REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE WITH CONVERTIBLE COMPARTMENT
20230375255 · 2023-11-23 ·

A refrigerator appliance includes a refrigerator compartment, a freezer compartment, and a convertible compartment. The convertible compartment is defined by a liner and is configured to selectively transition between a secondary refrigerator compartment and a secondary freezer compartment. A heating coil is wrapped around the liner with the coil extending over at least two exterior walls of the liner.

Refrigerator appliance with self-adjusting mullion

A refrigerator appliance includes a housing, a mullion, and a biasing element. The housing defines an internal cavity and door frame that accesses the internal cavity. The mullion is disposed within the cavity and divides the cavity into a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment. A position of the mullion is adjustable within the cavity such that movement of the mullion away from the freezer compartment and toward the refrigerator compartment increases a volume of the freezer compartment and decreases a volume of the refrigerator compartment, and such that movement of the mullion away from the refrigerator compartment and toward the freezer the compartment decreases the volume of the freezer compartment and increases the volume of the refrigerator compartment. The biasing element is secured to the housing and the mullion. The biasing element is configured to bias the mullion toward the freezer compartment.
