SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RAPID COOLING OF PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCTS
A packaged food product processing machine. The machine comprises a food consumer interface configured to receive a food consumer selection identifying an end state of a food product, a package cooling sub-system comprising a chilled fluid bath, a gripper component configured to agitate a package containing the food product in the chilled fluid bath, and a controller configured to command the gripper to control the rate of heat transfer from the package to the chilled fluid bath based on receiving an input identifying an end state selection from the food consumer interface and based on receiving an input containing a value of the physical parameter of the food product from the gripper component.
Spill containing refrigerator shelf assembly
The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.
Powder descaling compositions and methods for use thereof
A powder descaling composition is disclosed herein, as well as methods for using the same. A benefit to the powder descaling composition can be providing a compact, lightweight powder composition that is easily and efficiently transported, stored, dispensed and used for removing scale from the surfaces of machinery.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURE DELIVERY, TRANSFER, STORAGE, AND RETRIEVAL OF ITEMS
Systems and methods for securely delivering, transferring ownership, storing, accessing and receiving or returning an item from another are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a system and method are provided to securely receive a variety of different sizes and types of packages at one or more locations, including but not limited to on or adjacent a recipient's property. In another embodiment, the system and method allow a user to receive, store and/or return an item without exposing the item to loss, damage, spoilage or other events that would impair the value of the items. Methods of utilizing the systems described herein are also disclosed.
Nestable sunshade coolers
Nestable sunshade coolers may include a cooler enclosure including an enclosure bottom panel, a pair of spaced-apart enclosure side panels extending from the enclosure bottom panel, an enclosure front panel and an enclosure rear panel extending from the enclosure bottom panel in spaced-apart relationship to each other between the enclosure side panels. A plurality of enclosure corners may join the enclosure side panels to the enclosure front panel and the enclosure rear panel to the enclosure side panels, respectively. An enclosure rim may be provided on the enclosure side panels, the enclosure front panel and the enclosure rear panel. The enclosure side panels, the enclosure front panel and the enclosure rear panel may angle outwardly from the enclosure bottom panel to the enclosure rim to form a substantially trapezoidal shape in longitudinal sectional view and cross-sectional view of the cooler enclosure. Accordingly, multiple ones of the cooler enclosure may be capable of substantially completely nesting inside one another for space-efficient stowage purposes. At least one accessory mount assembly may be carried by the cooler enclosure. The at least one accessory mount assembly may be suitably configured to removably mount at least one accessory on the cooler enclosure. A cooler lid may be selectively detachably carried by and deployable between open and closed positions on the cooler enclosure to open and close the enclosure interior.
REFRIGERATOR WITH QUICK FILL DISPENSER INCORPORATING REMOVABLE FLUID STORAGE RECEPTACLE
A refrigerator utilizes a quick fill dispenser that incorporates a fluid storage receptacle that is easily removable for cleaning and/or dispensing independently of the refrigerator.
Refrigerating device with an ice water dispenser
A refrigeration appliance contains an ice water dispenser with a housing which is built into a wall or door of the refrigeration appliance and defines a dispenser niche for the introduction of a container for receiving ice and/or water. The ice water dispenser further has a dcor panel which defines a rear side of the dispenser niche where the rear side is visible from outside the refrigeration appliance. The ice water dispenser additionally has a retaining element which is arranged in the housing and is configured to engage with the dcor panel in such a way that the dcor panel is detachably mounted in the housing.
Vertical plate freezer system
There is disclosed a plate freezer apparatus. The plate freezer apparatus comprises a first frame member configured to support a plurality of vertically disposed freezing plate members arranged to define a freezing cavity therebetween and a flooring system configured to extend below the freezing plate members to form a base for the freezing cavities, wherein the flooring system is configured to be raised so as to lift any frozen material present in freezing cavities out of the freezing cavities so that the frozen material extends from the freezing cavities to project above an upper edge of the freezing plate members. A second frame member is mounted above said first frame member so as to extend substantially a length of the first frame member, the second frame member having a plurality of paddle members mounted therein that are individually actuable to extend between a horizontal axis where the paddle members extend substantially parallel with the second frame member, and a vertical axis where the paddle members extend from the second frame member to be received between the frozen material raised from the freezing cavities. The first frame member further comprises a lifting mechanism adjacent a proximal end thereof, the lifting mechanism being actuable to raise the proximal end of the first frame member so as to tilt the first frame member towards a distal end and wherein the paddle members are actuable to facilitate controlled release of the frozen material such that upon release the frozen material is able to slide along the upper edges of the plates and off the distal end of the first frame member for collection.
Refrigerator and method of controlling the same
This disclosure is related to a refrigerator and a method of controlling the same. The refrigerator includes a dispenser passage, a water supplier for supplying sterilizing water or rinsing water to the dispenser passage, a drain for draining the sterilizing water or the rinsing water that is supplied to the dispenser passage, and a controller for performing a sterilization cycle and controlling the water supplier and the drain to perform a rinsing cycle after completing the sterilization cycle, wherein the sterilization cycle is a cycle of keeping the sterilizing water in the dispenser passage and then draining the sterilizing water, and the rinsing cycle is a cycle of supplying the rinsing water to the dispenser passage and draining the rinsing water therefrom.
