The invention also relates to a household refrigeration apparatus and to a method for producing and dispensing a mixed drink.
DOOR AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE COMPRISING A DOOR
The invention relates to a door for closing a cavity (3) included in a chassis (2) of a household or kitchen appliance (1), the door (10) comprising a first electrical component that can be releasably electrically coupled with a second electrical component comprised within the chassis (3) of the household or kitchen appliance (2) in the closed state of the door (10) by first coupling means (20), said first coupling means (20) comprising a first contact section (21) arranged at the door (10) for releasable interaction with corresponding second contact section (22) arranged at said chassis (3), wherein said first contact section is configured such that in the closed state of the door (10) an electrical contact is established between said first and second contact sections (21, 22) and said electrical contact is opened when opening the door (10), wherein the first contact section (21) is arranged at a removable door portion (11) and the door (10) comprises second coupling means (30) are provided for releasable electrical coupling of the first contact section (21) with the first electrical component.
Conveyor rail support, cryogenic freezer, and method of cooling food
A cryogenic freezer includes a plurality of conveyor rail supports that rest upon side walls of a lower housing of the freezer. The conveyor rail supports include upper and lower bars that support upper and lower conveyor support rails extending perpendicular to the bars.
Highly durable superhydrophobic, oleophobic and anti-icing coatings and methods and compositions for their preparation
Methods for preparing durable hydrophobic, oleophobic, and anti-icing coatings by applying a composition that comprises a lacquer binder, one or more types of particles having a size of about 30 microns to about 225 micron, and one or more types of particles modified with hexamethyldisilazane, polydimethylsiloxane or silanizing agents are set forth, along with the resulting coatings and methods of their use.
COOLING DEVICE FOR REDUCING THE TEMPERATURE OF COOKED WARM FOOD HELD IN A CONTAINER, IN PARTICULAR IN A STANDARD TROLLEY
A cooling device for reducing the temperature of cooked warm food in a liquid or paste-like state held in a container, in particular in a standard trolley, is provided. The cooling device includes a plate-like covering member which covers the opening cross-section of the container or of the standard trolley, wherein the covering member has vertically arranged cooling elements on the lower face thereof, which cooling elements, when the cooling device is attached and lowered, are immersed in the density of the food and a cooling medium circulates through the cooling elements, which cooling medium extracts the stored heat from the food. A stripping plate designed as a perforated sheet or as a perforated plate is provided on the lower face of the covering member, which stripping plate removes remaining food from the cooling elements during withdrawal of the cooling device.
HOUSEHOLD COOLING APPLIANCE INCLUDING A DISPENSER UNIT FOR LIQUID AND/OR FREE FLOW REFRIGERATED GOODS, HAVING AN INSERT WITH A NICHE AND A SEPARATE COVER FOR INSERTION WALLS
A household cooling appliance includes a dispenser unit for dispensing a liquid and/or free flow refrigerated goods. The dispenser unit includes an insert having side walls bounding a niche into which a receptacle can be inserted for receiving the liquid and/or the free flow refrigerated goods to be dispensed. At least the side walls are partly covered at the front side by a cover which is separate from the insert. At least one side wall includes an engagement recess for engagement with a tool and for lifting the cover from the insert with the tool and/or at least one side wall is partly covered on the front side by a plate-shaped cover that is separate from the insert and the cover is held on the side wall by at least one magnet.
Refrigerator system
A fixation system for use in a refrigerator, including an insulative member and a ventilation panel defining a number of vents, includes first and second straps. The second strap is spaced apart from the first strap. The first strap and the second strap are collectively configured to receive the insulative member. The first strap includes a main body having a rear side and a front side opposing the rear side. The rear side is configured to lie against a rear wall of the refrigerator and defines a first aperture configured to receive a first fastener to fix the main body to the rear wall of the refrigerator. The front side defines a second aperture configured to receive a second fastener to fix the ventilation panel to the main body.
Ice maker
An ice maker including piping for water drainage therein is provided. The ice maker includes a cabinet body, an ice storage portion provided in the cabinet body and separable from the cabinet body, a first coupling portion disposed on a lower surface of the ice storage portion and having a first coupling hole, a drain portion provided downwardly of the cabinet body within the cabinet body and including a drainage passage connected to an external drainage hole, and an overflow socket inserted into the first coupling hole and connected to the drainage passage to connect the ice storage portion to the drain portion, and configuring a path allowing water received by the ice storage portion to be discharged to the drainage passage, thereby providing an ice maker having easy separation and coupling.
SPILL CONTAINING REFRIGERATOR SHELF ASSEMBLY
The specification discloses a method for containing spills on shelving and the like, and the resulting support members made in accordance with the method, by providing the generally flat top surface of a support with a hydrophobic surface which is arranged in a spill containment pattern and which is generally in the plane of the top surface of the support. The majority of the top surface of the support consists of one or more spill containment areas which are of a non-hydrophobic nature and which are bounded by the hydrophobic surfaces, such that spills on the shelving collect in the non-hydrophobic spill containment area or areas and are prevented from spreading by the hydrophobic surfaces.
