POWERED GARMENTS, PORTABLE DEVICES CONTROLLING POWERED GARMENTS, CHARGERS FOR POWERED GARMENTS, ENCLOSURES FOR STORING POWERED GARMENTS, AND INTERCONNECTIONS OF POWERED GARMENTS
In selected examples, a garment includes an article of clothing, a processor, memory storing instructions, biometric and/or environmental sensors configurable and readable by the processor, and a short range radio frequency (RF) transceiver (e.g., a Bluetooth transceiver). When the processor executes the instructions, it may configure the garment to establish an R link with a communication device, enabling the processor to receive from the communication device sensor configuration information, and configure the sensors accordingly. The processor may also collect sensor data, and transmit the data over the RF link from the garment to the communication device. The communication device may be a mobile device, e.g., a smartphone/tablet. The garment may be a master coupled through wired/wireless links to slave garments, and allow the communication device to communicate with the slaves. The communication device may connect the master/slaves to various networks and other computing devices.
POWERED GARMENTS, PORTABLE DEVICES CONTROLLING POWERED GARMENTS, CHARGERS FOR POWERED GARMENTS, ENCLOSURES FOR STORING POWERED GARMENTS, AND INTERCONNECTIONS OF POWERED GARMENTS
In selected examples, a hanger or a garment-storing enclosure couples to an electrically-powered garment, to provide electrical energy for recharging the garment's battery and operating the garment's electronics. The electrical energy may be transferred using low frequency inductive coupling or electromagnetic coupling in the radio frequency range of the spectrum. The hanger/enclosure may include a data interface to the garment, and another data interface to a Wide Area Network (WAN) or another network. Each of the data interfaces may be, e.g., a wireless RF data interface. The garment may include biometric, environmental, and other sensors for collecting data. Through the data interfaces, the hanger/enclosure may enable data flow between the garment and remote devices connected to the WAN. The garment-storing enclosure may be a portable enclosure, such as a garment travel bag. It may also be a relatively-fixed enclosure, such as a closet in an office or a dwelling.
POWERED GARMENTS, PORTABLE DEVICES CONTROLLING POWERED GARMENTS, CHARGERS FOR POWERED GARMENTS, ENCLOSURES FOR STORING POWERED GARMENTS, AND INTERCONNECTIONS OF POWERED GARMENTS
In selected examples, a clothes storage system includes a garment holder designed to receive and store at least one garment, an electromagnetic radiator attached to the garment holder, power circuitry configured to provide electrical drive to the electromagnetic radiator to cause the electromagnetic radiator to radiate radio frequency (RF) power, and a data interface configured to establish short range wireless communication links. The garment holder may be, e.g., a clothes hanger, a garment bag, a travel garment bag, or a walled enclosure such as a closet in a dwelling or an office. The data interface may be a short range RF transceiver, e.g., a Bluetooth transceiver. The radiated RF power is received by the powered garments in/on the garment holder and converted into DC charging power used to recharge batteries of the powered garments. The data interface may allow the powered garments to communicate with external networks, e.g., the Internet.
Cooling Products
Comfortable and flexible cooling units and methods of using cooling units for cooling humans, animals or objects, the cooling units including a first weldable textile layer having a peripheral edge, a second weldable textile layer having a peripheral edge, the peripheral edge of the first layer weldable textile layer adjoined to the peripheral edge of the second weldable textile layer around a circumference of the cooling unit, and a phase change material composition contained between the first weldable textile layer and the second weldable textile layer. The phase change material composition may include a pelletized shape stable phase change material which may be suspended in a gel and may be comfortable and conformable.
GARMENT FOR REGULATING PERSONAL BODY TEMPERATURE
A wearable vest for regulating personal body temperature. The vest is fluidly connected to tubes that recirculate water. The water passes through a computer-controlled a thermal unit that has a water block with a pair of Peltier modules that heat or cool the water block. A temperature sensor senses the wearer's core body temperature and selectively actuates the Peltier modules.
REFRIGERATING CLOTHES
Refrigerating clothes may include a clothes body and a refrigerating means having a working medium capable of changing between gas and liquid. The refrigerating means comprises a radiating surface and a refrigerating surface, between which the working medium circulates. The refrigerating surface is abutted against the clothes, and the radiating surface is arranged at one side far away from the refrigerating surface. The radiating surface absorbs thermal radiation from sunlight and provides energy for the working medium, the working medium absorbs heat on the refrigerating surface to realize cooling, and continuously circulates in the refrigerating means without need for frequent replacement.
WEARABLE, INTEGRATED COOLING SYSTEM
A portable, wearable, cooling system for the avoidance and management of hyperthermia, and more particularly a self-contained cooling system that can be integrated into a garment. In one embodiment, the system comprises a removable cartridge having a cooling fluid therein, attached via tubing to a motorized pump driven by a power pack, such that the pump drives water from the cartridge through a circuit of tubes into a bladder that provides a cooling effect to the wearer. In another embodiment, the bladder is not a removable piece but is an integrated portion of the garment, formed by creating a lumen in between two layers of bonded material. The lumen is connected at both its ends to the tubing that mns to the cartridge and pump. Cooling fluid is pumped through the lumen and thereby cools the wearer due to the proximity to the wearer's skin.
THERMOSTATIC GARMENT BEING HEATED AND COOLED BY POWER SUPPLY
A thermostatic garment being heated and cooled by a power supply and includes a thermostatic garment body. A first heat exchange water pipe network and a second heat exchange water pipe network are arranged on the thermostatic garment body in a laying manner. A thermoelectric cooler, an electric heating sheet, a controller, a power supply, a first water pump, a second water pump, a first heat conducting water tank, and a second heat conducting water tank are arranged outside the thermostatic garment body. The first heat conducting water tank is provided with a first temperature sensor, and the first temperature sensor is electrically connected to an input end of the controller. Output ends of the controller is further electrically connected to the thermoelectric cooler, the electric heating sheet and the water pump respectively. The electric heating sheet is connected to the first heat conducting water tank.
Ballistic Vest Cooling Assembly
A ballistic vest cooling assembly includes a ballistic vest that is comprised of a bullet resistant material to protect a user from a bullet. A plurality of tubes is integrated into the ballistic vest and the plurality of tubes contains a fluid. A sleeve is positioned around the plurality of tubes to define an air space between the sleeve and the plurality of tubes. A temperature conditioning unit is coupled to the ballistic vest and the temperature conditioning unit is in fluid communication with the sleeve. The temperature conditioning unit blows air through the sleeve when the temperature conditioning unit is turned on for cooling the user when the user wears the ballistic vest.
