RAPIDLY COOLING FOOD AND DRINKS
Systems and methods have demonstrated the capability of rapidly cooling the contents of pods containing the ingredients for food and drinks.
BLAST CELL COOLING WITH GUIDED AIRFLOW
A blast cell system is provided with simple and scalable designs that prevent short cycling of air flow through any pallets in blast cells. The blast cell includes a plurality of suction channels that provide independent fluid pathways for directing the air drawn from different rows in the blast cell into the fan.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RAPID COOLING OF PACKAGED FOOD PRODUCTS
A packaged food product processing machine. The machine comprises a food consumer interface configured to receive a food consumer selection identifying an end state of a food product, a package cooling sub-system comprising a chilled fluid bath, a gripper component configured to agitate a package containing the food product in the chilled fluid bath, and a controller configured to command the gripper to control the rate of heat transfer from the package to the chilled fluid bath based on receiving an input identifying an end state selection from the food consumer interface and based on receiving an input containing a value of the physical parameter of the food product from the gripper component.
BLOWER AND REFRIGERATOR
A blower configured to circulate cold air inside a body of a refrigerator. The blower includes a casing, an impeller accommodated in the casing, and a support member configured to support the impeller against the casing. The impeller includes a disk-shaped base plate rotatably supported by the support member. The casing includes an inner circumferential surface extending so as to gradually move away from an outer circumference of the base plate toward a rotational direction of the impeller at a predetermined position around the outer circumference of the base plate, and a first case flow path between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumference. An introduction port configured to introduce the cold air to a second case flow path branched from the first case flow path is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the casing.
REFRIGERATION DEVICE
The present invention provides a refrigeration device, wherein a chamber structure is provided with a refrigeration space, and further fitted with a return outlet flow pipe and a return inlet flow pipe. Cold from a cold source produced by a refrigeration chip passes through a temperature equalization plate or a heat conducting pipe to enter the interior of a refrigeration space. A return inlet flow pipe of the refrigeration device is inserted into a beverage and used to input the beverage to the interior of the refrigeration space for cooling thereof. The beverage is then output from the inside of the refrigeration space through the return outlet flow pipe into a cup. The refrigeration device thus achieves fast cooling of a beverage to produce a cold drink. The refrigeration device can be applied in medical treatment, beds, and clothing, as well as medical equipment to provide a cooling function.
Draft beer machine
A draft beer machine comprising a cabinet and a refrigeration circuit inside the cabinet, including a compressor, a condenser, and refrigeration tubes. Beer pipes are also arranged inside the cabinet and a beer tap is fixed to the outside of the cabinet. The outer end of the beer pipes is connected to the beer tap. The refrigeration tube and the beer pipe are wound into a quick cooler of a round or an elliptic cylindrical shape, in a helical manner. The quick cooler comprises at least one mixing layer, which is formed by winding the refrigeration tube and the beer pipe into a round or elliptic cylinder, in an abreast and helical manner. In the same mixing layer, the adjacent beer pipe and refrigeration tube adhere to each other. The adjacent two mixing layers directly adhere or a thermal conductive medium is filled in between the two layers.
CONTAINERS AND METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ENHANCING THERMAL ENERGY TRANSFER BETWEEN CONTAINER CONTENTS AND EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT
The disclosure features various embodiments and aspects of containers and related systems for quenching contents of the containers.
Brewing and Cooling a Beverage
Systems and methods operable to brew and then cool a beverage include inserting a pod into a recess of a machine for providing the beverage, the pod comprising granulated ingredients and a filter, displacing a cap of the pod, by a plunger, into the pod; the plunger being used to compress the graduated ingredients and the filter, heating water within the machine using a refrigeration system of the machine, flowing the heated water through the compressed granulated ingredients and through the filter of the pod to brew a brewed beverage; and dispensing the brewed beverage from the pod.
METHOD FOR REFRIGERATING AN ISOTHERMAL BOX TO A TARGET TEMPERATURE AND ASSOCIATED FACILITY
The present invention concerns a method of refrigerating a housing to a target temperature according to which: an evaporator is placed in said housing; said evaporator is placed in fluid communication with a thermochemical reactor Ri, simultaneously, the heat produced at said reactor Ri is evacuated;
Characteristically, at least n>1 other thermochemical reactors are provided; I) the pressure Pevi in said evaporator after it is placed in fluid communication with said thermochemical reactor Ri, and the temperature of said thermochemical reactor Ri connected to said evaporator, are determined; II) when the temperature difference DTRi between the temperature of said reactor Ri connected to said evaporator and the equilibrium temperature TeSi of said reactive mixture contained in said thermochemical reactor Ri at the pressure Pevi of said evaporator is equal to a first predetermined differential and/or when the temperature difference DTev between said evaporator and the interior of said housing is equal to a second predetermined differential, said reactor Ri is isolated from said evaporator and said evaporator is placed in fluid communication with at least one thermochemical reactor Ri+1 the pressure whereof is less than Pevi and/or the temperature is less than a predetermined value, simultaneously, all or part of the heat that is produced at said reactors Ri+1 connected to said evaporator is also evacuated, III) steps I and II are repeated with reference to the thermochemical reactor Ri+1 in fluid communication with said evaporator (E) until the target temperature in said housing C is obtained.
RAPID COOLING DEVICE
This invention describes a device that is able to promote the rapid cooling/freezing of liquids and pasty and solid foods in general, where it is formed by several components that enable the action of cooling/freezing. Additionally, this invention describes that this device can incorporate the additional function of a refrigerator, through direct coupling of a thermal box to the cooling system of the device.
