Protective film and electronic appliance including the same
Disclosed herein are a protective film having a structure capable of protecting an adherend and an electronic appliance including the same. The protective film includes a protection layer comprising polyolefin, and an adhesive layer laminated on the protection layer and comprising a silicone adhesive.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING USE OF A PORTABLE COOLING CONTAINER
An illustrative example method of controlling use of a portable cooling container includes determining at least one characteristic of an amount of use of the cooling container. The at least one characteristic is determined by at least one of a processor at a location remote from the cooling container and a container controller of the cooling container. A relationship between the at least one characteristic and continued use of the cooling container is determined. An indication to a user of the cooling container is provided regarding continued use of the cooling container based on the determined relationship.
METHOD OF STACKING REFRIGERATED CONTAINERS
Method of stacking refrigerated shipping containers (10) including categorizing a plurality of refrigerated shipping containers (10) as a low temperature container (L) or a high temperature container (H), each of the refrigerated shipping containers (10) having a condenser (16). The method also includes disposing the plurality of refrigerated shipping containers (10) relative to each other based on the temperature categorization of the refrigerated shipping containers (10).
Packaging system for delivering appliance handles within an interior of the appliance and method therefor
A method for packaging a handle set including providing a refrigerator having a cabinet defining an opening to access an interior; and providing doors defining an aperture for accessing the interior, the aperture width being less than the opening width. A handle set for installation onto the doors. A substrate panel having a panel width that is between the aperture width and the opening width, and to which the handle set to define a handle set package. Inserting the leading edge of the substrate panel through the aperture and the opening and rotating the handle set package through the aperture and the opening such that the trailing edge moves through the opening and into the interior, wherein an installation cutout of the substrate panel provides the handle set package with clearance to be rotated, and wherein the perimeter edge of the handle set substrate panel remains substantially level.
Shelf lock assembly
Present embodiments relate to a shelf system for an appliance which has a lock device that may be easily retrofitted to render the shelves locked in position rather than removable and/or adjustable. The lock system inhibits rotation of the shelf in a direction normally required for removal of the shelf and movement thereof. The lock may be formed integrally or may be formed separately of the shelf support or bracket and may be connected to the bracket once the shelf is in a desired position in order to lock the shelf in place.
Appliance with Transitioning Door Handles
An appliance, e.g., a refrigerator, and method utilize a transitioning handle that is usable in both a recessed and an extended position. As an example, a refrigerator may include a housing that defines at least a food compartment, a door attached to the housing that provides access to the food compartment and includes an exterior surface and a handle recess extending inwardly from the exterior surface of the door, and a handle attached to the at least one door and movably mounted within the handle recess between a recessed position and an extended position, where the handle is manually grippable in both the recessed position and the extended position.
Transportable climate-controlled units for fulfillment of perishable goods
Disclosed are various embodiments for fulfillment of perishable goods using transportable climate-controlled units. A computing environment may control operation and transportation of network-enabled refrigeration units using mobile drive units capable of navigating a materials handing center or other space. The mobile drive units may recharge or otherwise provide power to the refrigeration units, for example, as they are transported.
PERISHABLE FOOD STORAGE LOCKER
A storage container includes a frame body with insulated walls at least partially enclosing a cavity, a door member connected to the frame body to selectively cover an opening in the frame body to the cavity, a cooling system connected to the frame body to maintain a temperature in the cavity at or below a first temperature threshold, and a heating system connected to the frame body to maintain the temperature in the cavity at or above a second, lower temperature threshold. A method includes monitoring a temperature in the cavity, and in response to determining the temperature in the cavity is greater than a first temperature threshold or less than a second, lower temperature threshold, controlling the cooling system or the heating system to adjust the temperature in the cavity to reside between the first temperature threshold and the second temperature threshold
Air hood
An air hood is described and which is arranged so as to be mounted on a refrigeration device of conventional design; the air hood is moveable between a first position where the air hood is collapsed and is placed in juxtaposed, covering relation relative to an air intake side of the refrigeration device, and a second position where the air hood is placed into an operational position which places it laterally outwardly relative to the air intake side of the refrigeration device.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH NON-DESTRUCTIVELY RELEASABLE ROLLER ASSEMBLY IN THE BASE OF A HOUSING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
A household refrigeration appliance has a housing in which at least one receiving area for food is implemented. At least one roller is arranged on the housing and by which the household refrigeration appliance can be rolled on an underlying surface. The roller is arranged rotatably mounted on a plate-like, separate bearing bracket and a roller assembly containing the roller and the bearing bracket is arranged non-destructively releasably on a base of the housing.
