A domestic refrigerator has at least one refrigerated cabinet, to which a frost-free evaporator, which can be cooled under control, and a fan, which can be driven independently therefrom, are assigned and which is separated from a freezer compartment by a partition. A control method includes an evaporator cooling phase to cool the frost-free evaporator, which comprises phase the fan is switched off. The refrigerator has a control device, which is designed to cool the frost-free evaporator and to operate the fan. The control device is further configured to run an evaporator cooling phase for cooling the frost-free evaporator when the fan is switched off. The method is particularly advantageous for side-by-side refrigerators.

A method for controlling a refrigerator comprises: as a first refrigeration cycle for refrigeration of a first storage chamber is operated, operating a compressor and operating a first cold air supply; when the first refrigeration cycle has been operated for a first run time, converting to a second refrigeration cycle for refrigeration of a second storage chamber, and operating a second cold air supply; and if the second refrigeration cycle has been operated for a second run time, stopping the second refrigeration cycle. A first reference time is determined using a representative value obtained based on the temperature of the first storage chamber during a single run cycle, which includes a previous first refrigeration cycle and a previous second refrigeration cycle. A second reference time period is determined using a representative value obtained on the basis of the temperature of the second storage chamber during the single run cycle.

In a refrigerator control method according to an embodiment of the present invention, an operation corresponding to a freezer chamber load is performed when a heat load penetrates the inside of the freezer chamber, and the internal temperature of a deep-freezing chamber is differently set and controlled according to the on/off state of a deep-freezing chamber mode, and thus the input condition of the operation corresponding to the freezer chamber load can be differently set according to the on/off state of the deep-freezing chamber mode.

CONTROL METHOD FOR REFRIGERATING AND FREEZING DEVICE, AND REFRIGERATING AND FREEZING DEVICE

Provided are a control method for a refrigerating and freezing device, and the refrigerating and freezing device. The refrigerating and freezing device includes a cabinet provided with a groove communicating with a surrounding environment and sunken inwards, and at least one fan for promoting air of the surrounding environment to flow into the groove. The control method includes: judging whether a temperature in the groove is less than or equal to a dew point temperature; and if yes, controlling the fan to operate at a first preset rotation speed. The temperature in the groove is increased by controlling the fan to operate to introduce hot air of the surrounding environment into the groove when the temperature in the groove is less than or equal to the dew point temperature, which avoids condensation in the groove and improves safety and reliability of electrical parts in the groove.
