The appliance comprises an electronic display (11) configured to store information about said one or more food items (12a-12e) to be stored in the appliance (10), the information being received wirelessly by the electronic display (11), and further being configured to display at least a part of the received information.
Temperature control of refrigeration cavities in low ambient temperature conditions
A method of controlling the temperature in cavities of a refrigerator (10) cooled by a refrigeration circuit having a compressor (18) and an evaporator (32) includes the steps of: monitoring the duty cycle of the compressor (18); determining whether the duty cycle is below a threshold; determining whether the temperature of the evaporator (32) is above a threshold; and if the duty cycle is below the threshold and if the evaporator temperature is above a threshold, activating the refrigeration circuit to start cooling of at least one of the refrigerator cavities. A refrigeration appliance (10) with a controller that activates the refrigeration circuit based on the monitored duty cycle of the compressor (18) and the evaporator temperature is also provided.

The set temperature calculating apparatus includes: a first obtaining unit configured to obtain data correlating with a heat load in a container storage; a second obtaining unit configured to obtain a set temperature when performing temperature control in the container storage; and a learning unit configured to learn a cargo core temperature in the container storage according to a data set including a combination of the data correlating with the heat load and the set temperature.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator comprises: a storage compartment, at least divided into a refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment a first evaporator, arranged at a cooling compartment connected to the storage compartments through supply air ducts; a second evaporator, arranged inside the freezing compartment a switching valve, used to switch the flow of a refrigerant to a refrigerant channel connected to the second evaporator; a fan, used to enable cooled air in the first evaporator to flow from the cooling compartment to the storage compartments; a first air duct damper, inserted in the supply air duct connected to the refrigerating compartment and a second air duct damper, inserted in the supply air duct connected to the freezing compartment.
Determining cold-chain shipment packaging
Various techniques are described to compensate for weather and other extraneous temperature conditions along a transit route when preparing a product for cold-chain shipment packaging. The origin and destination of the shipment may be determined to calculate one or more transit routes, which may include each stage along each transit route. Weather data may be received from one or more sources to build a weather database for one or more locations, which may be used to generate a temperature profile indicating the expected temperature and duration at each stage of transit to which the cold-chain shipment will be exposed. Thermodynamic calculations may then be performed in accordance with the temperature profile to determine the best available packaging option to prevent the product's temperature from falling outside of a desired or mandatory cold-chain temperature range.
Refrigerator and method for controlling refrigerator
A method for controlling a refrigerator includes: a step for determining whether or not a defrosting initiation condition is satisfied with respect to an evaporator; a step for, if the defrosting initiation condition is satisfied, detecting a pressure differential by means of one differential pressure sensor for measuring the pressure differential between a first through hole, which is positioned between the evaporator and an inlet port having air flowing in from a storage chamber, and a second through hole which is positioned between the evaporator and a discharge port having air discharged to the storage chamber; and a defrosting step for variably defrosting in accordance with the measured pressure differential.
