REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator may include a rack gear assembly provided on a lower surface of a drawer. The rack gear assembly may have a first rack member and a second rack member that are pushed out by being moved forward sequentially so that a pushing-out distance of the drawer is maximized and the drawer is fully closed even when opposite sides thereof are pushed in a storage chamber without being in parallel.
REFRIGERATOR
Disclosed herein is a refrigerator. Specifically, a refrigerator that is capable of enabling a user to easily introduce or remove goods into or from the refrigerator is disclosed. More specifically, a refrigerator that is capable of enabling a drawer for receiving goods to be more conveniently used is disclosed. The refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage compartment with a food introduction port formed in the front thereof, a door hingedly connected to the cabinet for opening and closing the storage compartment, a plurality of drawers disposed in the storage compartment, the drawers being arranged vertically, a moving frame extending vertically so as to correspond to the height at which the drawers are disposed, the moving frame being configured to selectively push the drawers such that the drawers are moved toward the food introduction port, an electric driving unit coupled to the moving frame for moving the moving frame toward the food introduction port, and a controller for controlling the electric driving unit to move the moving frame when it is sensed that the door is open.
AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION UNIT FOR A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE, AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
An ambient light detection unit for a household appliance includes a sensor housing and a brightness sensor which is disposed in the sensor housing and detects the brightness of the ambient light in the environment. The ambient light detection unit has a lens with which the ambient light that is incident on the sensor housing is focused toward the brightness sensor. A household appliance is also provided.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE WITH A POWER-SAVING MODE, AND METHOD FOR INITIALIZING A HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
A household refrigeration appliance has a cooling chamber that can be closed off by at least one door. At least one door image recording module with at least one camera sensor and a gyro sensor is arranged on the at least one door. The gyro sensor is permanently active in an operationally ready state of the household refrigeration appliance and is configured to determine that the door is closed, and thereupon to deactivate at least one other component of the door image recording module, and/or to detect an opening movement of the previously closed door and, on this basis, to activate at least one deactivated other component of the door image recording module. The invention is particularly advantageously in the context of refrigerators, specifically refrigerators with double doors in a French-door arrangement.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE HAVING IMAGE RECORDING MODULES AND METHOD OF RECORDING IMAGES IN A HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
A household refrigeration appliance, in particular a refrigerator or a French-door refrigerator, includes a plurality of image recording modules each having at least one camera sensor. A control unit is connected to the image recording modules. The control unit is configured to output a trigger signal to at least one of the image recording modules, and the at least one image recording module is configured to record at least one image by using at least one camera sensor upon receiving the trigger signal and to transmit corresponding image data to the control unit. A method for recording images of refrigerated goods stored in a household refrigeration appliance is also provided.
HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE AND CALIBRATION OF A GYROSENSOR OF THE HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
A household refrigeration appliance has a cooling chamber which can be closed off by a pivotable door. On the door a gyrosensor is arranged which is configured to measure an angular velocity of a pivoting movement of the door and, from this, to determine a pivot angle of the door. A door opening sensor is provided and is configured to detect a closed state of the at least one door. The household refrigeration appliance is configured to establish by use of the door opening sensor whether the associated door is in its closed state, then to establish by use of the gyrosensor of the door whether its angular velocity lies below a predetermined first threshold value and, if both conditions are present simultaneously, to set the pivot angle to zero.
REFRIGERATION UNIT MONITORING, CONTROL AND FEEDBACK SYSTEM
A monitoring, control and feedback system for a refrigeration unit is provided that includes a wireless transceiver operably connected to the control circuitry of a refrigeration unit. The transceiver is operably connected to the central processing unit (CPU) of the refrigeration unit and receives signals from the CPU regarding the operation of the refrigeration unit. The transceiver wireless communicates these signals to a program or application stored and operating on a suitable u ser device that displays the signals illustrating the current operational parameters of the refrigeration unit on the user device while also enabling the user to control the operation of refrigeration unit remotely.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a door and a hinge assembly connecting the door and the cabinet. A sensor detects an opening angle of the door. The sensor includes: a first component and a second component, where one of the first component and the second component is a magnetic element, and the other one is a magnetic sensing element. The first component is provided at the hinge assembly, and the second component is provided at the door. This enables the magnetic sensing element to accurately sense a magnetic field of the magnetic element, and simplify a structure of the cabinet.
REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a door connected to the cabinet. The door includes a door sheet body, a side cover connected to an end portion of the door sheet body and a controller fixed to the side cover. The side cover is provided with an installation hole which faces away from an opening at a side of the door sheet body, and a cover member configured to seal the opening. The controller is located in the installation hole. The controller is installed in the side cover, so as not to be damaged by being immersed in a foaming liquid, thereby enabling a simpler assembly process.
Refrigerator appliance having a movable camera
A refrigerator appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a door, and a camera module. The cabinet may define a chilled chamber. The door may be rotatably hinged to the cabinet to provide selective access to the chilled chamber. The camera module may be movably mounted to the cabinet (e.g., above a support shelf). The camera module may be movable on the cabinet along a predefined direction between a retracted position proximal to a first end of the cabinet and an extended position proximal to a second end of the cabinet. The camera module may be directed at the chilled chamber in the extended position to capture an image thereof.
