GOLF CLUB HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
20210402264 · 2021-12-30 ·

A golf club head comprises a body including a top and a bottom and a hosel connected to the body. The body comprises a forward face defining a leading edge and an opposing rearward facing surface defining a trailing edge. At least one weight shifting element is positioned on the rearward facing surface. A sole extends between the leading edge and the trailing edge and defines a center portion, a first end surface and a second end surface. A static bounce angle is equal to an effective bounce angle when the center portion is square with the ground, and the effective bounce angle is greater than the static bounce angle when the center portion is not square with the ground and the second end surface is positioned away from the ground.

CUSTOMIZED GOLF PUTTERS AND METHODS OF CONSTRUCTING CUSTOMIZED GOLF PUTTERS
20210402268 · 2021-12-30 ·

Customizable golf putters are disclosed. The putters include a putter face; a putter head that is configured to be reversibly connected to the putter face (with the putter head being selected from a plurality of different putter head styles); and a hosel that is configured to be reversibly connected to any of a plurality of hosel receiving channels that are accessible on a top surface of the putter head (the hosel) is also selected from a plurality of different hosel styles). The golf putters further include a threaded shaft connector that is configured to reversibly connect the hosel to a putter shaft. In addition, the golf putters include one or more peg fillers, which are configured to be inserted into empty hosel receiving channels.

GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a front portion. A face portion may be coupled to the front portion. The face portion may include a central strike portion and a perimeter. A plurality of projections may extend from the face portion to provide a ball striking surface for impacting a golf ball. The plurality of projections may be aligned in one or more directions across the face portion and may progressively increase in size in any direction from the central strike portion to the perimeter of the face portion. Other examples and examples may be described and claimed.

MULTI-MATERIAL IRON GOLF CLUB HEAD

Described herein is a tour iron having a golf club head with a faceplate, a body, and an insert. A sole, top rail, rear, and the faceplate enclose a cavity within the body. The cavity can house the insert. The insert can comprise a low-density material, allowing weight to be concentrated around the peripheral edge of the golf club head. The rear of the golf club head has an inflection seam running from the heel to the toe. The golf club head has an upper portion, above the inflection seam and a lower portion below the inflection seam. The lower portion can have a depth greater that the upper portion depth. The faceplate, body, and insert can be formed of different materials having different densities. The golf club head has a comparatively high moment of inertia and a low center of gravity. Other embodiments and methods are described herein.

GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a top portion of a golf club head may include an alignment aid having a first plurality of strip portions and a second plurality of strip portions. Each strip portion of the first plurality of strip portions and each strip portion of the second plurality of strip portions have a quadrilateral shape with a diagonal side. The diagonal sides of the first plurality of strip portions are aligned with one another to generate a first focal axis and the diagonal sides of the second plurality of strip portions are aligned with one another to generate a second focal axis that meets with the first focal axis at a focal point. Other examples and examples may be described and claimed.

Golf club

A golf club comprises a shaft, a club head, and a connection assembly that allows the shaft to be easily disconnected from the club head. In particular embodiments, the connection assembly includes a removable hosel sleeve that allows a shaft to be supported a desired predetermined orientation relative to the club head. In this manner, the shaft loft and/or lie angle of the club can be adjusted without resorting to traditional bending of the shaft. In another embodiment, the club head has an adjustable sole that can be adjusted upwardly and downwardly relative to the strike face of the club head, which is effective to adjust the face angle of the club head.

Striking face of a golf club

A golf club head with improved striking face performance is disclosed herein. More specifically, the present invention discloses a golf club head having a striking face portion with a back surface provided with multiple constant thickness zones and multiple transition zones on a back surface of the striking face portion. Preferably, at least three constant thickness zones are provided in the thickened central region of the striking face portion encompassed by an intermediate transition zone and an outer perimeter region encompassing the intermediate transition zone comprising at least four outer perimeter constant thickness zones. Preferably, the thickened central region and the intermediate transition region mimic the shape of the face perimeter of the striking face portion of the golf club head.

PUTTER-TYPE GOLF CLUB HEAD

A putter-type golf club head has a top portion, a bottom portion, a heel portion, a toe portion, and a striking face having a variably textured region. The variably textured region includes a central portion and an outer portion laterally spaced from the central portion towards one of the heel portion and the toe portion. The central portion has a material ratio of less than 20% at a cutoff height of 0.1 mm and the outer portion has a material ratio greater than that of the central portion at the cutoff height of 0.1 mm. Variation of the textured region provides consistent ball speed upon impact at different lateral positions of the striking face.

GOLF CLUB HEAD WITH GROOVES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
20210394027 · 2021-12-23 ·

Embodiments of golf clubs with grooves and methods of manufacture thereof are described herein. In one embodiment of a golf club described herein, the golf club has a head with a body. The body has a strike face with channels and at least one insert located within at least one of the channels. At least one of the channels comprises a single groove, and the insert forms at least a portion of the single groove. At least one of the channels comprises an opening on the strike face that is narrower than a bottom of the at least one of the channels. Other embodiments and related methods are also disclosed herein.

GOLF CLUB HEAD

A golf club head comprises a body having a face, a crown and a sole together defining an interior cavity. The body having a channel located on the sole and extending generally from a heel end of the body to a toe end of the body. A weight member movably positioned within the channel such that a position of the weight member within the channel is able to be adjusted, thereby adjusting a location of a center of gravity of the body. Additionally, adjustment of the weight member provides a maximum x-axis adjustment range of the position of the center of gravity (Max ΔCGx) that is greater than 2 mm and a maximum z-axis adjustment range of the center of gravity (Max ΔCGz) that is less than 2 mm.
