SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL OF FEED COMPRESSORS IN AN RNG RECOVERY FACILITY FOR BIOGAS OR LANDFILL GAS
A system and method for recovering high-quality biomethane (RNG) from biogas sources is provided. The gas stream is compressed and liquids are separated from the gas stream at elevated pressure and reduced temperature. The compressing is performed using a plurality of compressors operating in parallel with common control set points. The system and method improve upon conventional practices and yield a biomethane product which meets strict gas pipeline quality specifications. Additionally, the system and method are an improvement to the overall methane recovery efficiency for biogas processing facilities.

Method and arrangement for producing liquefied methane gas (LMG) from various gas sources
The method is carried out for continuously producing a liquefied methane gas (LMG) from a pressurized mixed methane gas feed stream. It is particularly well adapted for use in relatively small LMG distributed production plant, for instance those ranging from 400 to 15,000 MT per year, and/or when the mixed methane gas feed stream has a wide range of nitrogen-content proportions, including nitrogen being substantially absent. The proposed concept can also be very useful in the design of medium-scale and/or large-size plants, including ones where the nitrogen content always remains above a certain threshold. The methods and arrangements proposed herein can mitigate losses of methane gas when venting nitrogen, for instance in the atmosphere.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIOMETHANE BY PURIFYING BIOGAS FROM NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE FACILITIES AND FACILITY FOR IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD
A method for producing biomethane by purifying biogas from non-hazardous waste storage facilities involves compressing the initial gas flow, introducing the gas flow to be purified into at least one adsorber loaded with adsorbents capable of reversibly adsorbing the VOCs, and subjecting the VOC-depleted gas flow to at least one membrane separation step in order to partially separate the CO.sub.2 and O.sub.2 from the gas flow. The method also involves introducing the retentate from the membrane separation step into at least one adsorber loaded with adsorbents capable of reversibly adsorbing the major portion of the remaining CO.sub.2, subjecting the CO.sub.2-depleted gas flow exiting the adsorber loaded with adsorbents capable of reversibly adsorbing the major portion of the remaining CO.sub.2 to a cryogenic separation step in a distillation column in order to separate the O.sub.2 and N.sub.2 from the gas flow, and recovering the CH.sub.4-rich flow from the cryogenic separation step.
