Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion with a toe portion, a heel portion, a rear portion, a front portion with a strike face, a sole portion, and a top portion with a plurality of ports. The body portion may define a periphery of the golf club head. The golf club head may also include a plurality of weight portions with each weight portion disposed in one port of the plurality of ports. Aspects of the invention are directed to golf club having a crown, a sole, a face, and a primary alignment feature hard tooled into the golf club head. In some embodiments the golf club has a primary alignment feature comprising a line delineating a transition between at least a portion of the crown having an area of contrasting shade or color with a shade or color of the face. The primary alignment feature is hard tooled into the golf club head with the face of the golf club body.

A golf club head having a laser-generated features to create contrast on the club face of the golf club head. The club face includes a central region, a toe region, and a heel region. The central region includes a first plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the central region, a width-intersection coverage of the central region, and a surface-area coverage of the central region. The toe region includes a second plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the toe region, a width-intersection coverage of the toe region, and a surface-area coverage of the toe region. The heel region includes a third plurality of laser-generated features that provide a height-intersection coverage of the heel region, a width-intersection coverage of the heel region, and a surface-area coverage of the heel region.

This disclosure relates to an alignment aid for a golf club. The alignment aid provides a golf club with one or more markings on or adjacent the hosel of the golf club, and can be used by the golfer to achieve a proper alignment. In particular, the alignment aid may include at least two markings, each of which can be used by the golfer to assist the golfer in achieving the proper alignment corresponding to a desired type of golf shot. As an example, the golfer may use one marking to achieve a proper alignment for a pitch shot, and the golfer may use another marking to achieve a proper alignment for a bunker shot.

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a front portion. A face portion may be coupled to the front portion. The face portion may include a central strike portion and a perimeter. A plurality of projections may extend from the face portion to provide a ball striking surface for impacting a golf ball. The plurality of projections may be aligned in one or more directions across the face portion and may increase in size in one or more directions from the central strike portion to the perimeter of the face portion. A golf club head is provided having a club body having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, and a heel portion. The club head also having a central portion connected with the front portion. A frame is connected with the central portion configured to provide a lightweight crown portion being located above an offset plane.

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a cavity having an opening and an internal structure defined by a wall portion and a base portion. A hosel portion may include an insert portion and a neck portion extending therefrom. The hosel portion may be attached to the body portion by an interference fit between the neck portion and the opening of the cavity. The insert portion may be received inside the cavity and may be spaced apart from the internal structure of the cavity. A space between the insert portion and the internal structure of the cavity may be partially or entirely filled with an adhesive to hold the hosel portion in place. Disclosed is a putter including an interchangeable sleeve mechanism capable of easily replacing and mounting a shaft, the putter comprising a main body part, a downward extension part, a blade formation part having a plate-shaped structure which extends to a predetermined length rearward from a lower end of the downward extension part and has an area having a predetermined size, a plurality of weight mounting grooves disposed to be spaced a certain interval from each other in an upper surface or a side surface of the blade formation part and configured to bind weights in a detachable structure, and a sleeve mechanism mounted in a structure detachably attached to the binding groove of the main body part, having a block structure extending to a predetermined height upward, and formed with a shaft binding fastening hole recessed to a predetermined depth in an upper end surface.

A golf putter includes a putting head including a putting head body, configured with a flat bottom surface, a rear ward angled hosel aperture and a rear angled flat surface; left and right indentations for receiving weights, and left and right detachable wheels attached on sides of the putting head body, such that the putting head is configured to be slidable along a putting surface to enable a golfer to line up the putting head, a golf ball, and a target cup in a front of the golfer, in order to hit the golf ball with a forward sliding motion of the putting head.

Various embodiments of a golf putter having a putter head attached to an elongated shaft with the putter head defining a retention cavity configured to engage and retain a golf ball therein are disclosed. The retention cavity is formed along the back region of the putter head and is configured to have a diameter that is slightly less than the diameter of a regulation sized golf ball such that the golf ball is retained therein when urged into the confines of the retention cavity by the putter head. The putter head further includes an alignment aid that cooperates with the retention cavity to assist in aligning the golf putter during a putting stroke.
