HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A method of constructing a coil wound heat exchange module and transporting and installing the coil wound heat exchange module at a plant site, such as an natural gas liquefaction plant. A module frame is constructed and attached to a heat exchanger shell prior to telescoping of a coil wound mandrel into the shell. The module frame includes a lug and two saddles that remain attached to the shell throughout the process and when the heat exchanger is operated. The lug and saddles are constructed and located to stabilize the shell during construction, telescoping and transport (when in a horizontal orientation), and when the shell is installed at the plant site (in a vertical orientation). The lugs and saddles are adapted to allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the shell when it is transitioned from ambient to operating temperature and vice versa.

One aspect of the invention relates to a hydrocarbons fluid liquefaction system, having a first heat-exchange module having a pre-cooling exchanger having a pre-cooling circuit and a plurality of pre-cooling refrigerant circuits for pre-cooling the feed stream through the circulation of an expanded first mixed-refrigerant stream, and a second heat-exchange module having a liquefaction exchanger having a liquefaction circuit and a liquefaction refrigerant circuit for liquefying the feed stream through the circulation of an expanded second mixed-refrigerant stream, wherein each heat-exchange module has thermally insulating walls and a framework that allows the module to be transported and secured, and allows the first heat-exchange module to be stacked on top of the second heat-exchange module.

An apparatus for distillation at cryogenic temperatures can include a cold box module comprising framing and having an upper module section and a lower module section, wherein the upper module comprises a roof; an upper column section disposed within the upper module section; a lower column section disposed within the lower module section; a plurality of support saddles attached to the upper and lower module sections that are configured to provide structural support for the upper and lower column sections when the upper and lower column sections are in a horizontal position during transportation; and means for limiting longitudinal movement of the lower column section when the lower module section is in a horizontal position during transport, wherein the means for limiting longitudinal movement are connected to the lower column section and the lower module section.

In a method for producing a series of at least a first and a second plate and fin heat exchanger, each having at least one fluid distribution tank capping at least some of the openings of the matrix unit and which is connected to a pipe, the tank is partitioned into several compartments using at least one partition, so as to distribute the number of openings assigned to a first fluid and to a second fluid, the partition being designed to divide the tank into several compartments which are each connected to a pipe for the passage of the first fluid or of the second fluid and which each communicate with a number of openings that varies according to the configuration adopted by the at least one partition, for the exchanger of the series.

A SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS AND METHOD
The system comprises a natural gas feed and a natural gas liquefaction facility having a refrigeration circuit comprising: a compressor adapted to compress at least one refrigerant fluid; a driver adapted to drive the compressor; and a heat exchanger adapted to receive a flow of natural gas from the natural gas feed and remove heat therefrom by heat exchange against the refrigerant fluid. A heat pump collects low-temperature thermal energy rejected from the natural gas liquefaction facility and transfers the collected thermal energy to a thermal energy storage system at a higher temperature. The system further comprises a processing facility powered by thermal energy from the thermal energy storage system.

Modular gas turbine system
A modular gas turbine system is disclosed. The system includes a base plate and a gas turbine engine mounted on the base plate. The gas turbine engine has a rotation axis, a first air compressor section and a second air compressor section. A rotating load is mechanically coupled to the gas turbine engine and mounted on the base plate. A supporting frame extends above the base plate and supports a plurality of secondary coolers, which are fluid exchange relationship with an intercooler of the gas turbine engine.
