System and method for preparing a container loaded with wet radioactive elements for dry storage
A system for preparing a container holding radioactive waste for dry storage. In one aspect, the invention can be a system for preparing a container having a cavity loaded with radioactive elements for dry storage, the system comprising: a gas circulation system comprising a condenser module, a desiccant module, and a gas circulator module; the gas circulation system configured to form a hermetically sealed closed-loop path when operably connected to the cavity of the container; and means for adding and removing the desiccant module as part of the hermetically sealed closed-loop path.

A dryer for drying hair or clothes is disclosed. The dryer includes a head and a handle attached to the head. The dryer further includes ultrasonic devices, a controller, a vacuum pump, and a reservoir. The head has a surface on which inlet holes are formed. The ultrasonic devices are positioned on the surface of the head. The ultrasonic devices produce ultrasonic vibrations that break down water molecules into mist. The controller controls an operation of the ultrasonic devices.

The control system includes a processing device to monitor a plurality of parameters of the vacuum drying system received from the plurality of sensors and automatically adjust one or more of the plurality of parameters based on the monitor of the plurality of parameters.

A rotary vacuum drum drying system is described. The system may include a plurality of sensors and a control system operatively coupled with the plurality of sensors. Space waste fluid extraction
A fluid extraction apparatus includes a first chamber within which waste material is configured to be disposed and a second chamber having a vacuum source interface. The first chamber may be in selective fluid communication with the second chamber. In various embodiments, the fluid extraction apparatus further includes an intermediate valve disposed on a conduit extending between the first chamber and the second chamber, wherein the intermediate valve is selectively actuatable to control the selective fluid communication. In various embodiments, the selective fluid communication between the first chamber and the second chamber is exclusively via the intermediate valve and the conduit.

The vibration generator is operatively connected to the vibration element for inducing vibrations in the vibration element. The connection assembly connects the vibration element to the belt conveyor so that the vibration element may move relative to the belt conveyor. A contact surface of the vibration element engages a material to vibrate and compress the material as it is transported on the belt conveyor. The vibration element may include a plate or a roller. A method for treating a material involves applying a vibration force and applying a compressive force to compact the material. A method for drying a material involves applying a vibration force to the material to release fluid and applying a compressive force to compact the material.
