SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING CEREAL GRASSES
Provided are systems and methods for drying a cereal grass, such as alfalfa, barley, clover, rye grass, Timothy grass, and the stalks, stems, grains and leaves of a cereal grass, such as oats, wheat, buckwheat, maize, millet, rice and sorghum. The systems include a first pressing roll and a second pressing roll that form a nip through which the cereal grass or forage crop can be pressed, pressing the liquid out of the cereal grass or forage crop to form a first product stream comprising a dewatered cereal grass or forage crop and a second product stream comprising liquid pressed out of the cereal grass or forage crop; at least one suction device for collecting the second product stream; an atomizer for converting the second product stream into droplets that can be applied to the surface of the first product stream; a drying chamber; and a circulation system for moving a drying medium through the drying chamber.
ENGINEERED TIMBER PRODUCTS, COMPONENTS AND METHODOLOGIES
A method of drying sticks, a related apparatus, resultant product and its uses where the method involves presenting a plurality of sticks in parallel as a single layer, pressing each stick with a bank of pressing members on and/or into at least one face of the sticks, each with plurality of protuberances, thereby to constrain the sticks against crook, and drying the sticks when so constrained. Preferably each bank of pressing members is an underside of a frame or lattice of a stack of such frames or lattices able to receive such a single layer of sticks between adjacent overlying/underlying frames or lattices, the protuberances preferably being only downwardly directed.

Drying chamber, drying unit, drier of recycled abrasive and method for drying wet recycled abrasive
Drying of recycled abrasive that can be recycled separated or as a part of the full recycling system. Sorted and meshed wet recycled abrasive is kept in a hopper for wet recycled abrasive, it is continuously delivered using a screw feeder into a drying chamber on a vibration mesh. Air is blown in the chamber, using an air flow generator, under a vibration mesh. The recycled abrasive is moved and lifted on the mesh using air flow and mesh vibration, this provides for clots of recycled abrasive to break down to particles of recycled abrasive and abrasive mixes and dries.
Method and facility for drying by means of hydrothermal carbonization and filtering
The present invention relates to the field of heat treatment of a product to be dehydrated, such as sludge from a waste water treatment process. The present invention relates more particularly to a method and to a facility for drying such a product, making it possible to implement a hydrothermal carbonization operation on reactor 1 followed by a filtering and drying operation, preferably on a heating filter press 6. In order to dry said product in the heating filter press 6, a heat-transfer fluid from a heat exchanger 2 is made to flow in said heating filter press. The heat exchanger 2 is arranged so as to transfer, to the heat-transfer fluid, at least some of the heat contained in the product to be dehydrated that is output from the reactor 1.

Optimization of vacuum system and methods for drying drill cuttings
Systems and methods for separating fluids from drill cuttings. Specifically, the invention relates to shakers that incorporate a vacuum system and methods of operating such systems to effect a high degree of fluid separation. The system and methods are effective across a variety of screen sizes, vacuum flows and vacuum designs.
APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING SOLVENT FROM BIOMASS
Apparatuses for recovering solvent from biomass are disclosed herein. In one example, the apparatus can include a mechanical press configured to exert pressure on wetted plant material to force liquid solvent from the plant matter so the solvent can be collected for reuse. The apparatus can also be configured to flow pressurized gas through the wetted plant matter, thereby forcing liquid solvent from the plant material so the solvent can be collected for reuse.

Water removal device for water jet loom
A water removal device for a water jet loom includes a suction member. A cloth route is formed between a cloth fell of a cloth and a surface roller of the jet loom. The suction member is arranged at the cloth route and removes water from a lower side of the cloth. Between a location proximate to the cloth fell and the suction member, the cloth route forms an ascending slope from the location proximate to the cloth fell to the suction member.
