A multi-wheeled golf push cart is shown that combines the functionality of a conventional pushcart and golf bag into a single piece of equipment. The cart comprises a collapsible multi-wheeled configuration and push bar. These collapsible mechanisms enable the cart to be transformed into two positions: folded or extended. The cart is also equipped with a plurality of golf club slots strategically formed into a U-shaped housing for optimized club organization and protection. For golf equipment storage space, the cart has a main console located in the push bar. In addition, the golf cart has a strap-on bag that comes with multiple pockets for additional storage. In an extended position, the cart is designed for walking similar to using a pushcart and bag combination. In a folded position, the compact designed allow it to fit securely onto the back of a motorized cart for riding, similar to a conventional golf bag.

The footboard allows the user to selectively ride on the apparatus or to manually assist the movement of the apparatus by push-kicking.

The clips are spaced from one another and affixed about the exterior of an upper annular portion of the endless sidewall for retaining golf clubs about and in upright orientations along the exterior of the holder body. The recessed decks are defined in and spaced apart from one another about the exterior of the lower annular portion of the endless sidewall for receiving heads of the golf clubs retained upright by the golf club clips. The mobile carriage may be a two-wheel or four-wheel version.

In another aspect, the present invention provides a crossbar assembly for installation on the roof of a golf cart. This crossbar assembly includes at least two crossbars and a plurality of support members, which serve as the support structure for the awning assembly. The crossbar assembly is uniquely configured to be compatible with any standard golf cart by using different groups of support members. In still another aspect, the present invention provides an awning kit including an awning assembly and a crossbar assembly, both of which are designed for attachment to a golf cart, particularly to the top roof of a golf cart, providing users with a convenient, adjustable, and reliable shade or shelter. In a further aspect, the present invention provides a method for mounting a crossbar or an awning to the roof of a golf cart.
