Accelerating Cyclone that Separates Solids Particles
The present invention refers to an accelerating cyclone that separates solid particles, comprising in its general structure a lower conical body (1) (17A and 17B), comprising a lower opening (18), a central cylindrical body (2) immediately above the conical body (1) whose diameter is smaller than the largest diameter of the conical body cone (1), and a third upper, also cylindrical, body (3) of smaller diameter than the diameter of the central cylindrical body (2), comprising a side opening for the acceleration air output (5); where the cylindrical central body (2) allows to accelerate the speed of the solid material particles and is the cyclone pressure chamber; and where said cylindrical central body (2) comprises a side opening for the acceleration air input (8) and at least one duct (9).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY DRYING BULK GOODS
An apparatus for drying bulk goods and a method are provided for continuously drying bulk goods. In particular, an apparatus and a method is provided for drying wood fibers.
Dryer For Preparation of Dry Nanoparticles
A system for producing dry nanoparticles from a liquid includes a closed tubing system which incorporates a mister, heater and an electrostatic collector therein. The system is able to produce dry nanoparticles from liquid-suspensions and from solvent solutions.
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING MOISTURE FROM PARTICULATE MATERIAL
Moisture is removed from particulate material using an apparatus comprising a dryer having a drying chamber for directing a flow of gas-entrained particulate material between first and second ends of the drying chamber. The dryer is configured for directing gas under pressure into the drying chamber, for interacting with a flow of gas-entrained particulate material within the drying chamber. The dryer comprises a body of modular construction, which defines a plurality of guide passages arranged for fluid communication between the drying chamber and a source of gas under pressure. The body of modular construction comprises a plurality of discrete annular elements, arranged in series, one adjacent another, each having a body defining a central aperture, and wherein the annular elements are arranged together with the central apertures aligned.

DRYING APPARATUS AND RELATED METHOD
There is provided an apparatus for use in drying a sample of geological material having a substantial moisture content. In one aspect, the apparatus comprises a means for providing a flow of heated fluid, and a means for managing the thermal state of the flow of heated fluid. The means for managing the thermal state of the flow of heated fluid is arranged operable with the means for providing a flow of heated fluid so that exposure of the sample to the flow of heated fluid facilitates a reduction of the moisture content of a portion of the sample while substantially preserving one or more chemical and/or physical properties of the portion.

Steel grit dryer
A mobile steel grit dryer used to dry steel grit may be configured with a number of different functions and features to assist a contractor in performing steel or other structure maintenance when using steel grit in resurfacing the structure. The steel grit dryer may be configured with a heat process vacuum bypass so that an off-board vacuum, such as a vacuum on a grit recycling system, may be utilized as opposed to having an onboard vacuum. The dryer may include multiple modes so that an operator may use different modes for different environmental conditions. An exoframe may provide for better durability when being transported to different jobsites. A variety of automation and safety features may also be provided to simplify and improve safety for operators.
Apparatus, a bottom plate component and a method for drying bulk particulate material
An apparatus for drying bulk particulate material, and having an inlet chamber for receiving a moist bulk particulate material and an outlet chamber for ejecting a dry bulk particulate material. The inlet chamber comprises a steam permeable bottom being divided into a number of subsections including a first subsection and a second subsection. Each subsection defines a first and a second radial centreline. The first subsection and the second subsection each having at least one louvered plate section comprising a plurality of louvers arranged in a first and a second specific direction, respectively, for directing superheated steam in a first and second blowing direction, towards said lower cylindrical inner wall. The specific direction of the louvers of the first subsection defines a first angle in relation to the first radial centre-line, and specific direction of said louvers of said second subsection defines a second angle in relation to said second radial centreline, and said first angle and/or said second angle, being different from 0 degrees.
