High-speed drying unit for locker
A locker includes a pair of upstanding sidewalls and at least one compartment defined between the upstanding sidewalls. A drying compartment includes upper and lower horizontal panels, at least one of the upper and lower panels being hollow and extending at least partially between the sidewalls. A pair of compartment sidewalls are connected to the panels, at least one of the compartment sidewalls being in fluid communication with the at least one hollow upper and lower panels. A perforated rear panel is connected to the compartment sidewalls and the upper and lower panels and is in fluid communication with an interior of the drying compartment. A fan is disposed in one of the compartment sidewalls. The fan draws air from at least one hollow upper and lower panels, directs it into the interior of the drying compartment, and the air is exhausted from the compartment though the perforated rear panel.
Drying system and apparatus
A drying system and apparatus that includes a drying apparatus having a housing having opposite open ends, a plurality of sequentially spaced fans contained within the housing, and a cover member for covering an open end of the housing with the cover member containing a plurality of openings that are in communication with an interior of the housing. The drying system also includes a kit containing various components for drilling into cabinetry or similar enclosed structures and connecting the drying apparatus to the openings that are drilled into the cabinetry or similar enclosed structures.
Sterilization and drying device
Disclosed herein is a sterilization and drying device. The sterilization and drying device includes: a body configured to be coupled to the inside of a sterilization target, and to suck and discharge internal air of the sterilization target; a silicon carbide honeycomb heater installed inside the body, and configured to sterilize, purify, dry, and heat the sucked air and discharge the sterilized, purified, dried, and heated air; an air circulation fan installed behind the silicon carbide honeycomb heater, and configured such that the internal air of the sterilization target is sucked, passed through the silicon carbide honeycomb heater, and then discharged; and a battery installed on one side of the air circulation fan, and configured to supply power to the silicon carbide honeycomb heater and the air circulation fan.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL FOR DRY STORAGE
A system and method for drying cavities containing spent nuclear fuel is devised. The invention utilizes a non-intrusive procedure that is based on monitoring the dew point temperature of a non-reactive gas that is circulated through the cavity. In one aspect, the invention is a system for drying a cavity loaded with spent nuclear fuel comprising: a canister forming the cavity, the cavity having an inlet and an outlet; a source of non-reactive gas; means for flowing the non-reactive gas from the source of non-reactive gas through the cavity; and means for repetitively measuring the dew point temperature of the non-reactive gas exiting the cavity.
System and Method for Drying and Analytical Testing of Containers
Embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method to perform drying and testing of organometallic and organosilane precursor source ampoules that have been cleaned for re-use. The drying and quality control testing is performed in a single location with a single apparatus requiring only one manual connection/disconnection step of the ampoule to the apparatus. The testing includes analyses for residual moisture, entrained particulate matter, differential pressure, and helium leak checking.
System and method to remove moisture from boats
A system and process is provided to deplete or remove moisture from wood coring in boats by piercing 20 a fiberglass outer skin; forming 30 bores or holes 200 in wood coring to form an exposed portion; processing ambient air 35 to create processed air; pumping or displacing 40 processed air into the bores or holes 200; penetrating 50 an exposed portion 80; with a sealant 100; and filling 60 the exposed portion 80 with a sealant 100.
Methods of drying apparel and apparel drying assemblies
Assemblies and methods for drying apparel, for example, footwear or gloves, are provided. The assemblies include a panel; projections or pegs pivotally mounted to the panel, the projections each having an inlet, an outlet, an internal passage communicating the inlet to the outlet, and the projections can be oriented in a position adapted to receive the apparel; and a source of air having an outlet in fluid communication with the inlets of the projections. The air, for example, from a fan, passes into the inlets of the projections, through the internal passages, and out of the outlets to contact and dry the apparel mounted on the projections. The methods may include heating the air to enhance the drying. Projection modules that can be pivotally mounted to extend and retract into the panel are also disclosed. The retracted projection may be flush with the panel when not in use.
WATER-BASED COATING COMPOSITIONS AND SYSTEMS WITH IMPROVED SAG RESISTANCE AND RELATED METHODS
The present invention provides a water-based coating and/or coating system that can be used to form sag resistant wet layers or coatings on a wide range of substrates. The coating system is particularly effective for protecting metal-containing substrates, such as intermodal cargo containers, against corrosion. As an overview, the present invention provides water-based compositions suitable to form primer coats on substrates. Desirably, the primer incorporates a high level of one or more CAS agents for excellent sag resistance while drying in a broad range of relative humidity environments. Alternatively, modifications can be made to control temperature and humidity during spray application and drying as a way to increase sag resistance of the coating.
Portable modular dryer device
The present invention provides methods and systems for a portable modular drying device that includes a distributing manifold for receiving a blower device that distributes air through the device, and at least one drying manifold having a first end, a second end, and at least one opening between the first end and the second end for distributing the drying air selectively secured to the distributing manifold.
