APPARATUS FOR MAINTAINING A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT
A lyophilization nest and method of using the same is described herein. In various embodiments, the lyophilization nest includes a base and first and second covers and is configured to support one or more receptacles each supporting one or more substances within interior spaces of the lyophilization nest. The interior spaces may be in fluid communication with the exterior of the lyophilization nest through one or more vent holes extending through the first and second covers. Each of the one or more vent holes have a corresponding sealing element configured to selectively form an air-tight seal within the vent holes, such that a controlled environment may be maintained within the interior spaces when the ambient conditions surrounding the lyophilization nest are not lyophilization conditions. The one or more sealing elements may be operable while the lyophilization nest is positioned within a sealed lyophilizer by depressing the sealing elements into corresponding vent holes to form the air-tight seal.
Substrate processing apparatus and substrate processing system including the same
A substrate processing apparatus includes a chamber providing a space in which a substrate is processed, a first substrate support within the chamber and configured to support the substrate when the substrate is loaded into chamber, a second substrate support within the chamber and configured to support the substrate in a height greater than the height in which the first substrate supports the substrate, a first supply port through which a supercritical fluid is supplied to a first space under the substrate of a chamber space, a second supply port through which the supercritical fluid is supplied to a second space above the substrate of the chamber space, and an exhaust port through which the supercritical fluid is exhausted from the chamber.
Unidirectional multi-path lumber kilns
Embodiments provide a unidirectional multi-path kiln with two or more chambers and generally parallel flow paths extending through the kiln, on opposite sides, from charge entry portals at a first end of the kiln to charge exit portals at a second end of the kiln. Moist heated air flowing from the second heated chamber is received in the first chamber and circulated around the lumber charges with one or more fans. The lumber charges proceed in the same direction on the flow paths through the heated second chamber, which may be an existing kiln. Charge exit portals at the distal end of the kiln and/or intermediate charge portals between the second chamber and a third chamber may be provided with insulating members configured to reduce airflow from the second chamber through the charge exit portals.

Dryer conveyor belt tracking system
The present invention provides a conveyor belt tracking system for a dryer having a web of a mesh material having a protrusion extending along the length proximal one lateral edge and above a flat surface and a first generally cylindrical roller having a three-tiered slot for receiving the protrusion and two flanking shallow tracks for receiving base flanges.

Lyophilization loading tray assembly and system
Provided is a loading tray assembly for housing a lyophilization container and a related system and method. The loading tray assembly includes a chassis including a contact void configured to facilitate direct contact between the attached lyophilization container and a lyophilizer shelf. The method includes securing a multi-part lyophilization container including a peelable seal on a lyophilization loading tray assembly, inputting a liquid into a non-breathable section of the lyophilization container, loading the tray assembly into a lyophilizer, freezing the liquid, applying heat energy and a vacuum, the vacuum causing an opening of the peelable seal and occluding the lyophilization container to isolate the frozen liquid.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR WATER CONTENT MEASUREMENT CORRECTION
Methods and systems for correction of water content measurements include determining an apparent water content measurement of a sample material while the sample material is dried in ambient vapor pressure conditions, determining a correction value that represents a relationship between the apparent water content and the vapor pressure, and correcting the apparent water content measurement based on the correction value. These methods and systems can reduce cost, measurement time, and error in water content measurement for products that lose water over time, such as while being dried or cured.
