Cleaning System for A Centrifugal Dryer
A centrifugal dryer includes a housing and a basket positioned within the housing. The basket defines an opening formed laterally there through. The basket rotates around a central longitudinal axis through the housing. An annulus is formed between the basket and the housing. A cleaning device is positioned within the annulus, and the cleaning device introduces a liquid into the annulus. A scraping device is positioned within the annulus, and the scraping device rotates to remove cuttings from at least one surface.
Method and System for Controlling and Optimising a Dehumidifying and/or Drying Process
Method of controlling and optimising a plant for dehumidifying and/or drying plastic material in granular and/or micro-granular and/or powder and/or flake or similar form, wherein the plant includes a process fluid generator and at least one dehumidifying/drying hopper intended for supplying a respective user machine, in particular a machine for treating and transforming plastic material, including a melting device for melting the plastic material and a moulding device for moulding, in particular by injection moulding and/or blow moulding and/or compression moulding, the plastic material. The method includes the steps of detecting a process parameter of the plastic material and adjusting at least one further process parameter of the plant on the basis of the detected value of the process parameter. The detected process parameter is the intrinsic viscosity of the plastic material in melted state.
Manure pellets, and process and equipment for making the same
A pellet made of dried, unfermented livestock manure has N, P and K values in the range of N: 3 to 7 g/kg, as ammoniac and organic nitrogen, P: 2 to 6 g/kg as phosphorus pentoxide and K: 2 to 6 g/kg as potassium oxide (g/kg). The pellet has a hardness exceeding 10 kg and has a shell composed of manure-base lignin. A press roll, including a hollow rotatable drum with a perforated screen, may be used in combination with an endless belt and a scraper to produce the pellet.
Pulse combustion variable residence time drying system
A variable residence time drying system for moist material includes a valveless pulse combustor and a drying chamber. The drying chamber includes a lower sidewall with an upward expanding configuration that defines a lower inverted partial cone, an upper sidewall with an upward contracting configuration, a lifting rotor disposed within the lower inverted partial cone to suspend material being dried within a shear/drying zone, an opening through which moist material is fed into the drying chamber, and an exit located at a top portion of the drying chamber through which dried material exits the drying chamber. The valveless pulse combustor produces drying gas and sonic vibrations that are introduced tangentially into the shear/drying zone. One or more cyclones receive dried material and collect small particles. The lifting rotor may rotate in a direction counter to a direction in which the heated drying gas is introduced into the drying chamber.
DRYING MACHINE FOR PASTY AND/OR GRANULAR SUBSTANCES AND SPACER FOR ROLLERS OF CONVEYOR BELTS FOR SUCH DRYING MACHINE
A drying machine for pasty and/or granular substances, which comprises a supporting frame for a plurality of superimposed conveyor belts, the frame being provided with lateral openings for the passage of air, each conveyor belt being supported by a plurality of spaced rollers which are pivoted to the frame, the rollers being surrounded by spacers which are adapted to define, between the rollers and the belt, air passage spaces to optimize the drying of the conveyed substances, each roller being surrounded by a single helical body with spaced turns that define the air passage space between the roller and the belt.
Automated Mechanism for Producing a Baked or Fried Product, Including Methods of Production
Mechanisms and methods for producing a baked or fried cake product are disclosed herein that include: a mold, wherein the mold comprises a top half, a bottom half and an end opening and wherein the mold is designed to hold a raw dough or batter product, a product handle insertion mechanism, wherein a handle is inserted into the raw dough or batter product, a heating element, wherein the heating element is designed to bake the raw dough or batter product or heat oil to fry the raw dough or batter product to form a baked or fried cake product, a dipping tray, wherein the dipping tray is designed to hold a plurality of the baked or fried cake product, a robotic tool, wherein the tool is designed to grab the handle in the baked or fried cake product and move the baked or fried cake product to the dipping tray, an open container of a liquid coating material, a robotic dipping tool, wherein the dipping tool is designed to place the full dipping tray into the container of the liquid coating material and then remove the full dipping tray from the container after the baked or fried cake product is coated, and a drying station, wherein the drying station is designed to secure the full dipping tray until the coated baked or fried cake product is dried.
PROCESS AND PRODUCTS USING A ROTARY COMPRESSION UNIT
A fertilizer/soil conditioner or a fuel source material is formed by processing animal waste by-products through the use of a rotary biomass dryer system. The animal waste by-product includes without limitation manure obtained from cattle or swine; feed lot bedding, poultry litter, a digestate of animal waste by-products obtained from an anaerobic digester, municipal waste, waste meat renderings, waste meat, or a mixture thereof. The processed material may comprise a higher amount of ash and a lower amount of volatile material than the animal waste by-product. The processed material may be stored as a powder or processed into pellets, logs, pucks, briquettes or another convenient shape form.
