Tempering furnace for glass sheets
The present disclosure relates to a tempering furnace for a glass sheet, which has a conveyor for the glass sheet, first convection blow means over the conveyor to heat the glass sheet by hot air jets blown on its top and/or bottom surface, and second convection blow means to help lead pressurized air from outside the tempering furnace to second blow nozzles from which air is discharged as jets towards the top and/or bottom surface of the glass sheet. The heating effect of the air jets on the glass sheet is adjustable by adjusting the feeding of electric current to electric elements inside blowing channels. Blow nozzles of the second convection blow means form blow zones. The heating effect on the glass sheet of the jets discharged from the second blow nozzles inside the blow zones is adjustable by adjusting the blowing pressure of feed pipes.

A system for melting a pelleted charge material including a furnace having a feed end configured to receive a solid pelleted charge material and a discharge end opposite the feed end configured to discharge a molten charge material and a slag, a conveyor configured to feed the pelleted charge material into the feed end of the furnace, at least one oxy-fuel burner positioned to direct heat into a melting zone near the feed end to heat and at least partially melt the pelleted charge material to form the molten charge material and slag, wherein the oxy-fuel burner uses an oxidant having at least 70% molecular oxygen, and at least one flue for exhausting burner combustion products from the furnace.

Oxidation furnace
An oxidation furnace for the oxidative treatment of fibers, in particular for producing carbon fibers, the furnace having a housing with an inner space which is gas-tight apart from areas for the passage of the fibers. A process chamber is located in the inner space of the housing. Guide rollers guide the fibers arranged adjacently as a fiber carpet in a serpentine manner through the process chamber, the fiber carpet spanning respective planes between opposite guide rollers, a partial area of the inner space being defined both above and below said planes. The process chamber extends between a primary blowing device arranged on a blowing end of the housing and a primary suction device, where a primary gas is blown into a partial area by the primary blowing device in such a way that the process gas flows through the process area in a process flow direction. A secondary gas can be blown into the partial area by a secondary blowing device, on the side of the primary blowing device located at a distance from the process chamber, using a flow sealing device.

The invention relates to an oven for the thermal treatment of filaments, which comprises: an oven body (1) having a height greater than its width, with a first end (1.1) and a second end (1.2); conduction means (2) for conducting the filaments, comprising first rotary supports (2.1) and second rotary supports (2.2) between which the filaments are threaded; a platform (3) on which the conduction means (2) for conducting the filaments are arranged and which is pivotably arranged at the first end (1.1) of the oven body (1); and attachment means (4) attaching the platform (3) to the second end (1.2) of the oven body (1), transferring the movements of the second end (1.2) of the oven body (1) to the platform (3), such that it assures that the filaments remain parallel to one another, preventing them from becoming deformed or from coming into contact with one another.

Provided is a roller shaft insulation member for reducing the heat which is conducted to the bearings by passing through the space between the roller insertion hole of a continuous annealing furnace and the roller, wherein the roller shaft insulation member of the continuous annealing furnace comprises an inorganic fiber blanket, which contacts or is near the outer circumferential surface of the roller and in which the content of 45 m or larger shot is 3% or less. A continuous annealing furnace provided with said roller shaft insulation member is also provided.
