Golf Training Device For Optimal Putting Speed From Various Distances and Slopes
20230364484 · 2023-11-16 ·

A golf putting device with guide rails, semi-circle placed into the real putting green cup and a round cup target with a flag that slides into varying positions of inches from behind the real cup ranging from 1 inch to 18 inches. A golf ball must have sufficient velocity to make it the target cup behind the real putting green cup in order for the ball to make it into the real cup. By attempting to putt past the actual putting green cup helps train the golfer to have consistent putting speed to overcome the fact the balls velocity slows down in its approach to the real cup where it's more likely to be affected by any defects on the putting surface. The ability of the device to slide behind the real cup, closer and or farther allows putting from various distances and speeds further training the golfer.

Golf flagstick accessories and modifications

A ball lifting device having an elevator is attachable to a flagstick for enabling easy removal of a golf ball that is holed while putting with the flagstick in place in the cup. The elevator may be attached to a handle portion that extends up along the pole portion of the flagstick allowing the elevator to be raised by way of the handle portion. The handle portion may have a hook portion for hooking up with a golf club so that hand contact with the device is eliminated. The handle portion may be a thin member. The handle portion may be a tubular portion. The elevator may be spring loaded with the spring manually loaded by a golfer and released to eject the golf ball from the cup.

Molded golf flagstick and method for making

A golf flagstick device comprising a rigid support member combined with a plurality of jacks. The components are encapsulated by a material, such as a thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer, using an injection molding process. The jacks have one or more arms extending outward from a center portion. The arms are adapted to contact the inner wall of the mold's cavity to help hold the rigid support member in one place and away from the inner wall during the molding process. The flagstick includes a ferrule attached to a lower end which is adapted for placement into a putting cup and a tip fitting attached to an upper end which is adapted to be combined with a flag. The ferrule and/or tip fitting may be combined with the rigid support member before the injection molding process resulting in the ferrule and/or tip fitting being at least partially filled with and/or encapsulated by the material to help hold the components together without requiring a secondary attachment operation.
