Method and device for producing soft magnetic strip material for strip ring cores
A method producing soft magnetic strip material for roll tape-wound cores with the following steps: preparing a band-shaped material, applying a heat-treatment temperature to the band-shaped material, and applying a tensile force to the temperature-applied band-shaped material in one longitudinal direction of the band-shaped material in order to produce a tensile stress in the band-shaped material, to produce the soft magnetic strip material from the band-shaped material, the method, moreover, comprising determining at least one magnetic measurement value of the soft magnetic strip material that has been produced and controlling the tensile force for setting the tensile stress in a reaction to the determined magnetic measurement value. Furthermore, a device for carrying out the method and a roll tape-wound core produced by means of the method are made available.

A heat treatment furnace and a method for heat treatment of a steel sheet blank is disclosed having at least one furnace chamber and a transport system for conveying the steel sheet blanks through the furnace chamber. A preheating chamber, a metallurgical bonding path and a cooling chamber, wherein the steel sheet blank can be heated in the preheating chamber to a temperature of above 200 C. A method for the production of a hot-formed and press-quenched motor-vehicle part is also disclosed.
Blast furnace apparatus and operation method for blast furnace
Disclosed is a blast furnace apparatus includes: a rotating chute; a profile measurement device configured to measure surface profiles of a burden charged into the furnace; and a tilt angle controller configured to control a tilt angle of the chute, in which the device includes a radio wave distance meter installed on the furnace top and configured to measure the distance to the surface of the burden, derives the profiles on a basis of distance data for the entire furnace obtained by scanning a detection wave of the distance meter in the furnace in a circumferential direction, and includes at least one of arithmetic units configured to command during rotation, on a basis of the surface profiles obtained, the controller to change the tilt angle of the chute, or a controller to change a rotational speed of the chute or a feed speed of the burden fed to the chute.
Conveyor furnace
A conveyor furnace includes a muffle having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, with a heating device for heating a volume delimited by the muffle, and a closed conveyor belt manufactured at least partially from metal. The conveyor furnace includes another heating device which is arranged so that, during the operation of the conveyor furnace, the heating device heats a section of the conveyor belt extending outside of the muffle.
Transferring molten metal from one structure to another
A system and method for transferring molten metal from a vessel and into one or more of a ladle, ingot mold, launder, feed die cast machine or other structure is disclosed. The system includes at least a vessel for containing molten metal, an overflow (or dividing) wall, and a device or structure, such as a molten metal pump, for generating a stream of molten metal. The dividing wall divides the vessel into a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein part of the second chamber has a height H2. The device for generating a stream of molten metal, which is preferably a molten metal pump, is preferably positioned in the first chamber. When the device operates, it generates a stream of molten metal from the first chamber and into the second chamber. When the level of molten metal in the second chamber exceeds H2, molten metal flows out of the vessel and into another structure, such as into one or more ladles and/or one or more launders.
Method and arrangement for feeding fine-grained matter to a concentrate or matte burner of a suspension smelting furnace
The invention relates to a method and to an arrangement for feeding fine-grained matter to a concentrate or matte burner (1) of a suspension smelting furnace (2). The arrangement comprising a fluidization arrangement (3) for feeding fluidized fine-grained matter into a dosing bin (4), and a conveyor means (6) for feeding fluidized fine-grained matter from the dosing bin (4) to the concentrate or matte burner (1) of the suspension smelting furnace (2), and a loss-in-weight controller (5) between the dosing bin (4) and the conveyor means (6). The arrangement comprises an impact cone (8) arranged below a filling valve (7) between the fluidization arrangement (3) and the dosing bin (4) for distributing fluidized fine-grained matter flowing from the fluidization arrangement (3) within the dosing bin (4).

Vessel transfer insert and system
A system for removing molten metal from a vessel is disclosed. The system includes a pump and a refractory casing that houses the pump. As the pump operates it moves molten metal upward through an uptake section of the casing until it reaches an outlet wherein it exits the vessel. The outlet may be attached to a launder. Another system uses a wall to divide a cavity of the chamber into two portions. The wall has an opening and a pump pumps molten metal from a first portion into a second portion until the level in the second portion reaches an outlet and exits the vessel.
