TACTILE BIOFEEDBACK REFERENCE ATTACHMENT
A tactile reference attachment for providing a user with tactile biofeedback. The attachment includes a tactile reference feature that extends longitudinally along an exterior body surface and is formed with dimensions specifically tailored to harness the user's natural attributes of sensibility, proprioception, and neuromuscular memory to improve a user's performance.
APPARATUS AND METHODS TO TRACK MOVEMENT OF SPORTS IMPLEMENTS
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to track movement of sports implements are disclosed herein. An example sensing unit disclosed herein is to be coupled to a sports implement. The sensing unit includes an inertial measurement unit to obtain movement data of said sports implement during a swing of said sports implement and a swing analyzer to determine whether the swing is a horizontal shot or a vertical shot based on the movement data.
APPARATUS AND METHODS TO TRACK MOVEMENT OF SPORTS IMPLEMENTS
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to track movement of sports implements are disclosed herein. An example sensing unit disclosed herein is to be coupled to a sports implement. The sensing unit includes an inertial measurement unit to obtain movement data of said sports implement during a swing of said sports implement and a swing analyzer to determine whether the swing is a horizontal shot or a vertical shot based on the movement data.
Bat swing training device
The present invention is a bat swing training device and methods of using the device to increase accuracy when hitting a ball with a bat. The training device has a bottom end having a knob, a handle next to the knob and a shaft next to the handle and a top end having a barrel for hitting the ball. The handle is a non-round-cylinder shape and the shaft has a means for maintaining a desired orientation of the bat at the moment of contacting a ball. The method includes the steps of gripping and swinging the training device while maintaining the desired orientation and repeating the swing improving hitting accuracy.
Bat swing training device
The present invention is a bat swing training device and methods of using the device to increase accuracy when hitting a ball with a bat. Training bat
A training bat having an elongated barrel of a substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape, a relatively short tapered section and a handle section with knob, wherein the hitting surface is substantially flat with rounded edges and is of a lesser width front to back than each side of the barrel and provides a relatively longer than the hitting surface of a standard bat having a standard cylindrical shaped barrel. The hitting surface and is oriented relative to the grain of a wood embodiment such that the grain of the bat will be perpendicular to the ball at contact. The elongated barrel and short tapered section create a longer sweet spot which extends further toward the handle than a standard bat. The barrel has uniformly perpendicular sides extending from the tapered section to the top of the bat.
Training bat

CRICKET BAT SWING TRAINER
A trainer for practicing a proper cricket bat swing is shaped like a conventional cricket bat. A cavity with parallel side walls and toe and shoulder end walls extends through the trainer from its face to its swell. A weight freely reciprocates on a shaft aligned on the longitudinal axis of the cavity. The toe end of the cavity blocks sliding of the weight at the sweet spot of the trainer. When the trainer is swung in cricket bat fashion, the weight slides distally from the shoulder end wall and strikes the toe end wall of the cavity, providing audible indication of whether the contact of a conventional cricket bat with a bowled cricket ball would have occurred before, at or after the optimal ball-striking moment.
CRICKET BAT SWING TRAINER
A trainer for practicing a proper cricket bat swing is shaped like a conventional cricket bat. A cavity with parallel side walls and toe and shoulder end walls extends through the trainer from its face to its swell. A weight freely reciprocates on a shaft aligned on the longitudinal axis of the cavity. The toe end of the cavity blocks sliding of the weight at the sweet spot of the trainer. When the trainer is swung in cricket bat fashion, the weight slides distally from the shoulder end wall and strikes the toe end wall of the cavity, providing audible indication of whether the contact of a conventional cricket bat with a bowled cricket ball would have occurred before, at or after the optimal ball-striking moment.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY
A sports equipment assembly includes a sports equipment device and a ball. The sports equipment device has a barrel and a shaft. The barrel has a padding, a cover surrounding the padding, a lower end, an upper end, a contact surface extending between the lower end and the upper end, and a ball receiving depression on the upper end. The shaft has a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion extends from the lower end of the barrel and defines a handle. The upper portion extends through the barrel, with an uppermost end of the shaft being vertically spaced a distance below the upper end of the barrel. The ball has a spherical shape and is positioned in the ball receiving depression of the barrel that conforms to the spherical shape of the ball.
