Air-cooled condenser apparatus and method
The present invention relates to an air-cooled condenser apparatus for condensing a steam flow exiting a turbine from for example a power plant. The air-cooled condenser apparatus comprises a series of condenser modules, each module having a series of compact delta-type heat exchanger units and a series of fans. The air-cooled condenser apparatus further comprises a series of independent frame structures FRS(m) wherein the number of frame structures has a lower limit depending on the number of modules. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an air-cooled condenser apparatus comprising steps of manufacturing the delta-type heat exchanger units in the factory, placing the units in a container for transportation and erecting the air-cooled condenser apparatus at a site of installation.
SUPPORT PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
A pulley wheel support frame having a ring-shaped support rim having a top surface adapted to support a horizontal pulley wheel, said ring-shaped support rim being coupled, on a bottom side, to an opening adapted to receive a ram or a saddle of a jack; a base; and three or more height-adjustable support columns coupling the base to the ring-shaped support rim, said height-adjustable support columns each being fixable at a plurality of different heights.
Pulsing adiabatic gas cooler
A method by a controller of a cooling system includes calculating a difference between a first temperature of ambient air and a second temperature of pre-cooled air. The pre-cooled air is ambient air that has been cooled by water from a water distribution system before it enters one or more condenser coils. The method further includes determining that the difference between the first and second temperatures is less than or equal to a predetermined temperature difference, and in response, determining that the first temperature is greater than or equal to a minimum temperature. The method further includes, if the first temperature is greater than or equal to the minimum temperature, instructing the water distribution system to distribute the water to pre-cool the ambient air for a predetermined length of time and to disable the distribution of the water after the predetermined amount of time has elapsed.

HEAT-RADIATION APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A heat-radiation apparatus includes a housing and a plurality of heat-radiation modules which are aligned in a vertically-slanted manner with a predetermined inclination angle to a vertical line in the housing. A plurality of heat-radiation modules includes a plurality of heat exchangers which is aligned together in parallel and equipped with a plurality of fans to parallelize axial lines thereof with each other. In a manufacturing method of the heat-radiation apparatus, the number of heat-radiation modules is adjusted according to a radiation amount which is determined in advance.
AIR COOLED CONDENSER AND RELATED METHODS
A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.

CONDENSER AND OPEN LOOP TWO PHASE COOLING SYSTEM
A condenser includes a casing and pipes. The casing includes an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, a first inlet, a first outlet, an accommodation space, a second inlet, and a second outlet. The first inlet and the first outlet are respectively in fluid communication with the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber. The accommodation space accommodates a coolant, and the second inlet and the second outlet are in fluid communication with the accommodation space not in fluid communication with the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber. The pipes are in the accommodation space and connect the inlet chamber with the outlet chamber, and a working fluid flows from the inlet chamber to the outlet chamber via the pipes. The first inlet is located closer to the second outlet than the first outlet, and the first outlet is located closer to the second inlet than the first inlet.
