Refrigeration unit with heat exchanging arrangement
A refrigeration unit includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a water pump, and a heat exchanging arrangement. The heat exchanging arrangement includes a main casing having a receiving cavity divided into a water atomizing compartment and one water showering compartment, a water atomizing unit, a water showering head, a fill material unit provided underneath the water showering head, and a water collection basin provided underneath the water atomizing unit and the fill material unit. A predetermined amount of heated water from the first heat exchanger is guided to flow to the water showering head and the water in the water showering head is sprinkled on the fill material unit. A predetermined amount of water from the water pump guided to flow to the water atomizing unit and the water flowing to the water atomizing unit is sprayed and atomized in the water atomizing compartment.
Heat exchanger system with machine-learning based optimization
In one aspect, a heat exchanger system is provided that includes a cooling system and a sensor configured to detect a variable of the cooling system. The heat exchanger system includes processor circuitry configured to provide the variable and a plurality of potential operating parameters of the cooling system to a machine learning model representative of the cooling system to estimate at least one of energy consumption, water usage, and chemical usage for the potential operating parameters. The processor circuitry is further configured to determine, based at least in part on the estimated at least one of energy consumption, water usage, and chemical consumption, for the potential operating parameters, an optimal operating parameter of the cooling system to satisfy a target optimization criterion.
METHOD FOR UTILIZING MULTIPLE SIMULTANEOUS INDEPENDENT SOURCES OF WATER IN A COOLING TOWER
A cooling tower system is disclosed. The cooling system includes a cooling tower; at least two make-up water inlet streams configured to supply water to the cooling tower; a blowdown stream configured to remove water from the cooling tower; at least one sensor monitoring water in each of the make-up water inlet streams; and a controller operably connected to the at least one sensor.
Hygroscopic cooling tower for waste water disposal
In various embodiments, the present invention relates to heat dissipation systems including a hygroscopic working fluid integrating waste water as makeup water. The present invention also relates to methods of using the same. The present invention also relates to hygroscopic cooling systems adapted to dispose of waste water by combining the waste water with a hygroscopic working fluid, precipitating impurities and evaporating the remaining water.
MONITORING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND MONITORING METHOD
A monitoring apparatus includes an interface and a controller. The interface is configured to acquire a signal that is based on the temperature of the inside of a cooling tower configured to cool a cooling target. The controller is configured to acquire the signal from the interface and calculate the temperature distribution of the inside of the cooling tower. The controller analyzes an abnormal site of the cooling tower based on the temperature distribution.
Friction Welding Machine for Radiating Fins
A friction welding machine for radiating fins is disclosed, which mainly uses a moving unit to drive a friction joint unit to approach the plurality of radiating fins, and a friction rod provided in the moving unit rotates at a high speed to penetrate the radiating fins. The radiating fins are then welded together through the heat generated by high-speed rotation friction to achieve the purpose of improving the welding quality of the radiating fins and reducing the cost.
High-efficiency cooling system
A cooling system transfers thermal energy from a temperature-critical reservoir to a heat sink. The system has an intermediate reservoir which is thermally interposed between the temperature-critical reservoir and the heat sink. The intermediate reservoir serves as an energy buffer between the two reservoirs by accepting thermal energy from the temperature-critical reservoir, storing that energy, and then transferring it to a heat sink by means of a temperature-driven process rather than by means of a heat pump. Transfer of thermal energy from the intermediate reservoir to the heat sink is temporally coordinated with naturally occurring temperature variations of the heat sink so that all thermal energy transfer processes conducted by the system are temperature-driven.
APPARATUS FOR COOLING LIQUID AND COLLECTION ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
A liquid collection assembly positionable between a fill material and a fan of a cooling tower for collecting liquid gravitating through the fill material while allowing air to pass up to the fill material. The liquid collection assembly includes a plurality of trough assemblies supported in a spaced apart, vertically overlapping relationship to provide a uniform path for rising air, to capture the down flowing liquid, to provide a barrier between the liquid distribution system and the fan, and to carry the liquid into the at least one gutter. The trough assemblies are supported by a first end plate and a second end plate through which trough assemblies extend.
ENGINE ROOM DUST CONTROL SYSTEM FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE STORAGE FACILITIES
In an engine room associated with fruit and vegetable storage refrigeration facilities, a water return pipe or pipes from a refrigeration cooling tower or towers associated with the engine room terminating below the surface of the water in an engine room water tank which contains highly mineralized water.
HEAT EXCHANGER APPARATUS
A heat exchanger apparatus includes at least one metal sheet with a corrugated surface, fabric covering at least a part of one surface of the at least one metal sheet to promote evaporation, and a wetting agent in the fabric to promote wetting of the fabric, the wetting agent also acting as an anti-microbial agent.
