Air cooled condenser and related methods

A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.

Dual mass cooling precision system

Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed for cooling using both air and/or liquid cooling sub circuits. A vapor compression cooling system having both an air and liquid cooling sub circuit designed to service high sensible process heat loads that cannot be solely cooled by either liquid or air is provided.

Heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tube assemblies. Each tube assembly includes an inner tube extending within an outer tube and configured for the flow of a first fluid therein. The inner tube and the outer tube are sized to facilitate capillary action fluid flow of a second fluid in an annular space between an outer surface of the inner tube and an inner surface of the outer tube, facilitating indirect heat exchange of the second fluid, through the inner tube and indirect heat exchange of the second fluid through the outer tube.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of tube assemblies. Each tube assembly includes an inner tube extending within an outer tube and configured for the flow of a first fluid therein. The inner tube and the outer tube are sized to facilitate capillary action fluid flow of a second fluid in an annular space between an outer surface of the inner tube and an inner surface of the outer tube, facilitating indirect heat exchange of the second fluid, through the inner tube and indirect heat exchange of the second fluid through the outer tube.

A fluid heat exchanger with pump, adapted to drive a fluid for heat transfer, comprises a heat conduction unit, a diversion unit, and a housing unit. The heat conduction unit includes a heat conductor. The diversion unit includes a cover and a diversion plate. A cooling chamber is defined by the cover and the heat conductor. The cover is provided with a fluid stopper. The diversion plate is disposed in the cooling chamber, and one end of the diversion plate abuts against the fluid stopper, so that the cooling chamber is divided into an upper passage and a lower passage. The housing unit includes a housing and a pump module. The fluid in the housing is driven by the pump module to flow through the upper passage to the lower passage, and then the fluid returns to the housing to carry the heat from the heat conductor.
