SPLIT GRIP TRAINING BAT
20230131506 · 2023-04-27 ·

A split grip baseball bat for use in training batters to hit breaking or off-speed pitches with proper form comprises a barrel shaft with optional foam attachment on a distal end forking into two handles on the proximate end, the two handles each comprising a longitudinal axis not concentric to the longitudinal axis of the barrel shaft. The two handles may be welded onto a non-standard barrel shaft, or alternatively, clamped onto the barrel shaft of an existing bat, and may comprise a U-shaped, L-shaped, or horseshoe-shaped curvature.

Golf swing playing aid device

A golf swing playing aid device for use on a conventional golf club having a handle, an impact head and a shaft. The golf swing playing aid device may include a grip member having an outer portion and an inner portion. The outer portion may be adapted to be grasped by a hand of the user. The inner portion may be configured to slide along the golf club shaft. The playing aid device may include an electronic device including a rotational sensor adapted to detect a change in rotation relative to at least one axis, and a controller operably coupled to the rotational sensor. The controller may read the rotational sensor to determine the change in rotation relative to at least one axis. When the change in rotation is greater than a threshold amount, the controller may provide an indication to the user, thereby indicating over-rotation of the golf swing.

RELEASABLY ATTACHED GRIP DEVICE FOR SHAFTS

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a releasably attached grip device for shafts, and methods of assembling, detaching and reassembling the same. The grip device comprises a flexible body. The flexible body comprises a butt end and an opposite distal end. The flexible body further comprises a first side end and an opposite second side end extending between the butt end and the opposite distal end. The first side end is structured to be positioned proximate the second side end around the shaft to form an enclosed tubular grip body. The enclosed tubular grip body defines an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface of the enclosed tubular grip body is structured to be gripped by a user.

SMART CRICKET BAT AND PROCESS OF FABRICATION OF THE SAME
20220314086 · 2022-10-06 ·

A smart cricket bat and a process of fabrication of the same is disclosed. The cricket bat includes an electronic system includes a plurality of sensors with sensor fusion to remove bias in sensed data. The plurality of sensors measure accurate data representative of rate of change of velocity, angular speed, orientation of the smart cricket bat, pressure exerted on the smart cricket bat by a ball, a pressure exerted on the handle unit by a hand grip of the batsman during swing of the smart cricket bat and one or more audio signals. The electronic system also includes a processing unit configured to process sensed data to calculate one or more metrics associated with batting. The electronic system also includes a transceiver unit configured to transmit one or more calculated metrics to a user's computing device.

RACKET

A grommet of a racket includes a tubular part. The tubular part includes a through hole through which a string is passed. The through hole includes a base opening, a side wall, and a non-circular tip opening. Assuming an imaginary dividing plane that is perpendicular to a face of the racket and that divides the non-circular tip opening into a first opening portion and a second opening portion shorter than the first opening portion in a direction parallel to the face, an inside dimension of the first opening portion in the direction perpendicular to the face increases gradually from one end of the non-circular tip opening in the direction parallel to the face to the dividing plane. In the tubular part, the string passes through the first opening portion and is in contact with the side wall from the base opening to the tip opening.
