HEAT EXCHANGERS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger is provided. The method includes forming a first substrate by additively manufacturing a body defining a first outer surface and a second outer surface opposite the first outer surface, a first partial fluid flow channel formed within the first outer surface, a second partial fluid flow channel formed within the second outer surface, and at least one internal fluid flow channel completely formed within the body, and coupling the first substrate to a second substrate including a partial fluid flow channel formed within a surface of the second substrate such that the first partial fluid flow channel of the first substrate and the partial fluid flow channel of the second substrate combine to form a combined fluid flow channel.
Methods and devices for heating or cooling viscous materials
Methods and devices heat or cool viscous materials, such as meat emulsions useful for producing food and other products. The devices have a heat exchanger including a first plate, a second plate attached to the first plate, and a first spacer and a second spacer arranged between the first plate and the second plate. The first plate, the second plate, the first spacer, and the second spacer define at least one temperature controlled passage for a product to pass through the heat exchanger.

HEAT EXCHANGER WITH PARTIAL-HEIGHT FOLDED FINS
A heat exchanger has a plurality of plates having opposed surfaces and side walls extending beyond the opposed surfaces to a height (h); and a fin pack extending from one opposed surface toward an opposed surface of an adjacent plate, and having a fin height (f), wherein the fin height (f) is equal to or less than the height (h). The plates can be stacked to form a heat exchanger assembly with a gap between adjacent fin packs.
COMPLEX PIN FIN HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger has a plurality of outer walls and at least one inner wall. A first fluid port communicates a first fluid into a chamber on one side of the at least one inner wall and a second port communicates a second fluid into a second chamber on an opposed side of the at least one inner wall. A plurality of pins extends from the inner wall in at least one of the chambers. The plurality of pins has a generally frusto-conical outer surface. A method is also disclosed and claimed.
Aircraft heat exchangers and plates
A heat exchanger plate for provides heat transfer between a first flow along a first flowpath and a second flow along a second flowpath. The heat exchanger plate comprised a body having: a first face and a second face opposite the first face; a leading edge along the second flowpath and a trailing edge along the second flowpath; a proximal edge having at least one inlet port along the first flowpath and at least one outlet port along the first flowpath; and at least one passageway along the first flowpath. Along a proximal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a first angle. Along a distal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a second angle less than the first angle.

Heat exchanger, heat recovery ventilator including the same, and method for defrosting and checking operations thereof
The present invention relates to a heat exchanger, a method for manufacturing the same, a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) including the same, and a method for defrosting and checking operations thereof.
PANEL FOR HEAT EXCHANGE AND IMPROVED NOISE REDUCTION FOR A TURBOMACHINE
A heat exchange and noise reduction panel the panel for an aircraft comprising: an external surface intended to be swept by an airflow and from which fins extend along a first and a second main predetermined direction; cavities forming Helmholtz resonators, linked to the first ends of channels for the passage of air, the second ends of which communicate with said airflow, such that said channels form necks, referred to as Helmholtz resonators, extending substantially along the first direction; and at least one oil flow chamber extending between said external surface and said at least one cavity, and intended to discharge the thermal energy carried by the oil, characterized in that wherein said channels are formed, at least in part, inside said fins.
High performance uniform temperature cold plate
A cold plate assembly for cooling a battery of a vehicle includes a first exterior portion disposed adjacent the battery, a separator portion disposed adjacent the first exterior portion, a first flow path formed between the first exterior portion and the separator portion with the first flow path configured to receive a first fluid flow therein, a second exterior portion disposed adjacent the separator portion opposite the first exterior portion, and a second flow path formed between the separator portion and the second exterior portion with the second flow path configured to receive a second fluid flow therein. The first fluid flow flows relative to the second fluid flow in a counter-flow flow configuration.
