METHODS AND DEVICES FOR HEATING OR COOLING VISCOUS MATERIALS
Methods and devices heat or cool viscous materials, such as meat emulsions useful for producing food and other products. The devices have a heat exchanger including a first plate, a second plate attached to the first plate, and a first spacer and a second spacer arranged between the first plate and the second plate. The first plate, the second plate, the first spacer, and the second spacer define at least one temperature controlled passage for a product to pass through the heat exchanger.
PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER MODULE FOR WHICH THE CHANNELS INTEGRATE AS INPUT A UNIFORM FLOW DISTRIBUTION ZONE AND A FLUID BIFURCATION ZONE
A heat exchanger module with a longitudinal axis including a stack of plates defining at least two fluid circuits, at least a portion of the plates each including fluid circulation channels each delimited, at least in part, by a groove. A communication is produced between the channels within a same plate and between all the plates of a same circuit, in a feed or pre-collector zone, with a succession of channel groupings, two-by-two, in the form of bifurcations.
Method and system for combination heat exchanger
The heat exchanger system includes a first heat exchanger assembly including a plurality of airfoil members circumferentially spaced in a flow stream of an annular duct. Each airfoil member including a radially inner end and a radially outer end and a first internal flowpath configured to channel a flow of cooled fluid therethrough. The heat exchanger assembly includes a second heat exchanger assembly including a plurality of fin members extending proximate the flow stream and a second internal flowpath configured to channel a flow of cooled fluid therethrough. The heat exchanger assembly includes a header system including a conduit path configured to couple the first heat exchanger assembly and the second heat exchanger assembly in flow communication. The header system includes an inlet connection configured to receive a flow of hot fluid from thermal loads and an outlet connection configured to direct cooled fluid to thermal loads.

HEAT EXCHANGER WITH UNDULATING PLATES
A heat exchanger includes a first plate defining a first plurality of undulations that extend along a first axis and a second axis, and a second plate defining a second plurality of undulations. The second plate is spaced apart from and coupled to the first plate to define a first fluid flow passage. A first flow area of the first fluid flow passage is constant from a first inlet to a first outlet. The heat exchanger includes a third plate defining a third plurality of undulations. The third plate is spaced apart from and coupled to the second plate to define a second fluid flow passage. The second fluid flow passage is discrete from the first fluid flow passage. A second flow area of the second fluid flow passage is constant from a second inlet to a second outlet.
Tube-pin assembly for heat exchanger of vehicle
A tube-pin assembly for a heat exchanger of a vehicle includes a housing having an inlet into which exhaust gas flows; a plurality of tubes arranged inside the housing to provide a passage through which the exhaust gas flows; and cooling pins provided between the tubes to provide a coolant passage through which coolant flows, where a foamed metal made of a porous material is provided inside at least one of the tubes.
Aircraft Heat Exchangers and Plates
A heat exchanger plate for provides heat transfer between a first flow along a first flowpath and a second flow along a second flowpath. The heat exchanger plate comprised a body having: a first face and a second face opposite the first face; a leading edge along the second flowpath and a trailing edge along the second flowpath; a proximal edge having at least one inlet port along the first flowpath and at least one outlet port along the first flowpath; and at least one passageway along the first flowpath. Along a proximal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a first angle. Along a distal portion, the first face and the second face converge at a second angle less than the first angle.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR BARRIER LAYER
A vessel includes an exterior container, an interior container, and a support structure. The exterior container is formed by an exterior wall that prevents transmission of a fluid. The interior container is by an interior layer disposed within the exterior container such that the exterior container encapsulates the interior container. The interior layer and the exterior wall are separated by a gap defining a barrier void. The interior layer prevents transmission of a fluid across the interior layer. The support structure is disposed within the barrier void between the exterior wall and the interior layer. The support structure comprises a lattice and is integrally formed with the exterior wall and the interior layer. The support structure is connected to and extends between the exterior wall and the interior layer.
HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM FOR PATIENT TEMPERATURE CONTROL WITH MULTIPLE COOLANT CHAMBERS FOR MULTIPLE HEAT EXCHANGE MODALITIES
Cold plates through which refrigerant flows define a slot between them that can receive a cassette through which sterile working fluid with a relatively low flow rate flows from an intravascular heat exchange catheter. The working fluid from the catheter is heated or cooled by heat exchange with the cold plates through the walls of the cassette to maintain the sterility of the working fluid. On the other hand, high flow rate working fluid chambers surround the cold plates and non-sterile working fluid from an external heat exchange pad flows through the high flow rate working fluid chambers to exchange heat through direct contact with the cold plates.

The invention relates to an exchanger arrangement (3) for the heat transfer and/or selective material transfer between a first fluid (F1) and a second fluid (F2), which can flow through the arrangement (3), said arrangement (2) being constituted of a multitude (n) of adjacent local exchanger elements (E.sub.1, E.sub.2, . . . , E.sub.n). The exchanger arrangement (3) has at least in some sections a cylindrical shape or the shape of a segment thereof or a prismatic shape having a polygonal base or the shape of a segment thereof. The adjacent local exchanger elements (E.sub.1, E.sub.2, . . . , E.sub.n) are flat structures that are either wedge-shaped or sheet-like.
