A heat exchanger is provided. The heat exchanger includes a target area that is a target for heat exchange; and a flow path structure. The flow path structure includes at least one inlet; at least one outlet; a first flow path connected to each of the at least one inlet and the at least one outlet, and extending along a first side of the target area; and a second flow path connected to each of the at least one inlet and the at least one outlet, and extending along a second side, different from the first side, of the target area.
STRUCTURE FOR THE END OF PRESSURE VESSELS, MOST APPLICABLY PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS, FOR REDUCING THE EFFECTS OF MOVEMENT CHANGES AND VIBRATIONS CAUSED BY VARIATIONS IN INTERNAL PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE, A METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING IT AND USE OF SAME
A structure for the end of pressure vessels, most applicably plate heat exchangers, for reducing the effects of movement changes and vibrations caused by variations in internal pressure and temperature. The end is made up of a heat transfer plate and an end part in such a way that the end part is connected by welding to the shell of the outer surface of the heat exchanger stack, forming an enclosed chamber on the end of the heat exchanger, into which chamber higher pressure than the external pressure level is brought and/or generated. The higher pressure receives and dampens, via a heat transfer plate, vibration and pressure shocks harmful to the heat exchanger structure in the medium circuits of the heat exchanger.
DEVICE FOR USE IN REFRIGERATION OR HEAT PUMP SYSTEM, AND REFRIGERATION OR HEAT PUMP SYSTEM
A device for use in a refrigeration or heat pump system. A device includes an outer casing which includes a longitudinal cylindrical shell and end plates arranged at both ends of the shell, and at least three units of the refrigeration or heat pump system arranged inside the same common outer casing, which units are selected from the group consisting of an evaporator, a superheater, an economizer, a condenser, a desuperheater, a sub-cooler and an oil cooler.
Heat recovery system having a plate heat exchanger
A heat recovery system has an evaporator in which a working medium is evaporated, an expander by means of which energy from the working medium in vapor form is made usable, a recuperator operating as an internal heat exchanger, a condenser that condenses the working medium in vapor form, and a pump to move the working medium through a circuit. At least one plate heat exchanger with flow channels formed in interspaces between the heat exchanger plates is provided as a component of the system and includes at least the recuperator and the condenser.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A COUPLED HEAT EXCHANGER SYSTEM AND HEAT EXCHANGER SYSTEM
A method for controlling a coupled heat exchanger system having a first heat exchanger block and a second heat exchanger block. A first fluid stream is divided into a first partial current and a second partial current both flowing through the heat exchanger system. A second fluid stream flows through the first heat exchanger block counter to the first partial current. A third fluid stream flows through the second heat exchanger block counter to the second partial current. An intermediate temperature is measured on one of the heat exchanger blocks. The amount of the first partial current and the second partial current is controlled based on the current value of the intermediate temperature. This control reduces the strain on the heat exchangers by changing loads while keeping fluctuations of the intermediate temperature low.
Methods and devices for heating or cooling viscous materials
The invention provides methods and devices for heating or cooling viscous materials such as meat emulsions useful for producing food and other products. The devices include a heat exchanger comprising a first plate, a second plate attached to the first plate, and a first spacer and a second spacer arranged between the first plate and the second plate. The first plate, the second plate, the first spacer, and the second spacer define at least one temperature controlled passage for a product to pass through the heat exchanger.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER USING TWO WELDS, AND A CORRESPONDING PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A method for producing a plate heat exchanger and the plate heat exchanger, particularly a soldered aluminium plate heat exchanger. In the method, a heat exchanger block is provided having a plurality of partition plates and edge strips arranged between the partition plates. A connection device is provided to be mounted on the heat exchanger block. A planar region for securing the connection device to the heat exchanger block is provided with at least one welded weld bead by means of a first weld. The connection device is welded onto the weld bead by means of a second weld. The welding method used for the first weld is a friction stir welding method.
