GOLF CLUB

A golf club 2 includes a head 4, a shaft 6, and a grip 8. The club 2 has a forward club flex of greater than or equal to 170 mm. The forward club flex is measured for a golf club in the completed state. The weight of the head is denoted by Wh, and the weight of the club is denoted by Wc. Wh/Wc is greater than or equal to 0.72. With the golf club 2, a force acting on the player's body during a swing can be reduced. The golf club 2 can stabilize swing.

Adjustable length shaft and an adjustable mass for a golf club

A golf club has a first shaft coupled to a club head, a second shaft configured to slidably engage a portion of the first shaft, a grip coupled to the second shaft, and an adjustable length shaft assembly received by the second shaft and configured to allow a portion of the first shaft to slide in relation to the second shaft in a first configuration, and to restrict a portion of the first shaft from sliding in relation to the second shaft in a second configuration. The grip is restricted from rotation about the first shaft or the second shaft as the first shaft slides in relation to the second shaft.

An improved golf putter grip is provided utilizing a grip adjustably affixed to the shaft of a conventional putter. A plurality of set screws adjustably affixes a hollow grip to the shaft. Vibrational energy is coupled from the shaft through the set screws into the hollow grip. The hollow grip is made of hard resonant material so that vibrational energy coupled from the shaft through the set screws into the hollow grip causes vibrational ringing of the grip. The position of the adjustable grip on the shaft may be selectively changed to provide improved tactile and auditory vibration feedback transmission to the hands and ears of the player by loosening the set screws and translating the adjustable grip along the length of the shaft in either direction before tightening the set screws to affix the adjustable grip to the shaft. In a method of use, through grip adjustments, tightening and loosening of the set screws, repetitious putting, and the resultant sensory feedback, a player tunes the putter to optimize the tactile and auditory vibration feedback which facilitates improved distance and direction control.

Adjustable knob assembly for a ball bat

An adjustable knob assembly for a ball bat having a tubular handle portion extending about a longitudinal axis. The assembly includes a base and an annular knob. The base includes an end wall and a cylindrical outer wall extending from the end wall. The outer wall is configured to be fixedly coupled to a proximal end of the handle portion of the bat. The outer wall includes a first set of interlocking structure. The annular knob includes an inner radial surface defining a central opening. The inner radial surface includes a second set of interlocking structure. The first and second sets of interlocking structure are positionable between at least a first locked knob position and a second locked knob position.
