By providing the first water collecting tank (20), and making the heat exchange tube (10) pass through the first water diversion hole (21) provided on the first water collecting tank (20), and leaving a gap between the heat exchange tube (10) and the first water diversion hole (21), the water in the first water collecting tank (20) evenly flows into the first water diversion hole (21).
Refrigeration Unit with Heat Exchanging Arrangement
A refrigeration unit includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a water pump, and a heat exchanging arrangement. The heat exchanging arrangement includes a main casing having a receiving cavity divided into a water atomizing compartment and one water showering compartment, a water atomizing unit, a water showering head, a fill material unit provided underneath the water showering head, and a water collection basin provided underneath the water atomizing unit and the fill material unit. A predetermined amount of heated water from the first heat exchanger is guided to flow to the water showering head and the water in the water showering head is sprinkled on the fill material unit. A predetermined amount of water from the water pump is guided to flow to the water atomizing unit and the water flowing to the water atomizing unit is sprayed and atomized in the water atomizing compartment.
Evaporative cooler and system
A cooling tower for an evaporative cooling system includes a cooling tower fan, a fan housing, at least one indirect heat exchanger and at least one air outlet located in a side or in a bottom of the cooling tower or in both a side and in a bottom of the cooling tower. All inner surfaces of the cooling tower, except for the at least one indirect heat exchanger, are made from and/or include a non-porous material. The non-porous material is high-density polyethylene. The cooling tower is part of an evaporative cooling system and supplies cool air to a building or areas which desire cooling.
Cooling Tower with Basin Shield
The present disclosure relates to a cooling tower. The cooling tower includes a fill media, a water distribution system to distribute water to the fill media, a basin to collect the water, and a shield disposed within the tower.
MULTI-CAVITY TUBES FOR AIR-OVER EVAPORATIVE HEAT EXCHANGER
An air-over evaporative heat exchanger with multi-lobed or peanut shaped tubes replacing conventional round or elliptical tubes. The tubes have a narrow horizontal cross section and tall vertical cross section to allow the multiplication of surface area in the same coil volume while maintaining or increasing the open-air passage area. This configuration allows the coil to have an overall external heat transfer coefficient much higher than a conventional coil, while the tube shape allows the use of thinner material, reducing the weight and cost of the heat exchanger.
Apparatus for cooling liquid and collection assembly therefor
An apparatus has a housing with at least one gutter, a body of fill material disposed in the housing, a liquid distribution system disposed in the housing and positioned above the fill material, a fan positioned below the body of fill material for blowing air upward through the fill material, a liquid collection assembly positioned between the fill material and the fan for collecting the liquid gravitating through the fill material. The liquid collection assembly has at least one troughless, open sided surface element angled so gravity is utilized to capture the down flowing liquid to provide a barrier between the fill media and the fan and to carry the liquid down the surface element and into the at least one gutter.
Cooling Tower with UV Treatment of Drift
The present disclosure relates to a cooling tower having a fill media, water distribution system, plenum, and an ultraviolet (UV) light emitter. The water distribution system distributes water to the fill media. A flow of air passes through the fill media and past a flow of the water and out of the cooling tower via an outlet. The plenum is defined by a volume between the fill media and the outlet. The UV light emitter is disposed in the plenum and configured to inactivate or kill organisms in a drift.
ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATING APPARATUS AND COOLING TOWER HAVING SAME
An electrostatic precipitating apparatus for a cooling tower is provided. The precipitating apparatus include an electrostatic precipitator including a plurality of discharge electrodes to which a voltage is applied and a plurality of electrostatic precipitating electrodes each disposed between the discharge electrodes and grounded, a washing water supply spraying the washing water to the electrostatic precipitator, and a frame assembly supporting the electrostatic precipitator. The electrostatic precipitator includes a first setting beam having a plurality of lower slots into which the discharge electrodes are fixedly inserted, and the frame assembly includes a lower frame extending in a stacking direction of the discharge electrodes to support the first setting beam, via which a voltage is applied to the discharge electrode.
Cooling tower wind wall system
A cooling tower is provided having a heat exchange section, and a fan for moving air through the heat exchange section. A water distribution assembly provides water onto and through the heat exchange section. An air inlet section is provided through which air is drawn into the cooling tower and the heat exchange section. The air inlet section has outside edges and corners. A wall assembly is provided in the air inlet section, with the wall assembly extending from the corners of the air inlet section inwardly. The water passing through the heat exchange section enters the air inlet section, and exits to a sump beneath the air inlet section. The air inlet section is comprised of a structure having outside edges and corners, and the wall assembly is comprised of a plurality of wall panel sections. Each wall panel section has an outer edge at a corner of the air inlet section, and each wall panel section extends inwardly from the corner of the air inlet section.
