The third tube can be arranged such that the fin is disposed at least partially between the first curved outer surface and the second curved outer surface.
Outdoor unit of air conditioner
Provided is an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, including: an outdoor heat exchanger that has a height longer than a width; and an outdoor blowing fan that is disposed above the outdoor heat exchanger and blows air upward from below the outdoor heat exchanger, in which the outdoor heat exchanger includes: a plurality of radiating fins that contacts air; a gap that is formed between the radiating fins; a louver fin that is cut in the radiating fin and then bent; and a cut-out area that is formed in the radiating fin and formed at a position where the louver fin is cut, the radiating fin includes: a first zone that is disposed above the outdoor heat exchanger and disposed close to the outdoor blowing fan; and a second zone that is located below the first zone, and an area LA1 of the louver fin in the first zone is formed to be larger than an area LA2 of the louver fin in the second zone. The present disclosure has the advantage of uniformly forming air volumes in each zone of the heat exchanger in the vertical height direction by making the areas of the louver fins arranged in each zone different, even when the outdoor blowing fan is disposed to be biased upward.
Stacked plate heat exchanger
A stacked plate heat exchanger for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The stacked plate heat exchanger includes a plurality of elongated stacked plates extending in a longitudinal direction and stacked against one another perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction in a stacking direction. First hollow spaces and second hollow spaces are disposed between adjacent stacked plates, through which alternatingly a first medium and a second medium flows. At least one stacked plate has a rib structure disposed on a respective plate surface, structured and arranged to provide a plurality of flow passages within the respective hollow space. The rib structure has a guiding region and two distribution regions. The rib structure differs in the guiding region and in the two distribution regions by shape and size of the plurality of flow passages.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle includes a drive clutch, a driven clutch operably coupled to the drive clutch, and a belt extending between the drive and driven clutches. The continuously variable transmission also includes an inner cover and an outer cover removably coupled to the inner cover. At least one of the inner and outer covers includes an air inlet for providing cooling air to the drive and driven clutches and the belt.
AIR COOLED CONDENSER AND RELATED METHODS
A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.
LAYERED DIFFUSER CHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER
A layered diffuser-channel heat exchanger may comprise a plurality of fluid channel layers and a plurality of diffuser fin layers interleaved with the plurality of fluid channel layers. Each fluid channel layer of the plurality of fluid channel layers may have a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a fluid channel located between the first surface and the second surface.
Passive hex flow regulation
A heat exchanger is configured to adjust a flow restriction of flow passages through the heat exchanger in response to changes in temperature of elements that define at least a portion of the flow passages. The elements include a first material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion, and a second material having a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is different from the first coefficient of thermal expansion.
LOUVERED FIN
The present disclosure provides a louvered fin including a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a surface extending between the leading edge and the trailing edge. The surface defines a first set of holes along a first axis, a second set of holes along a second axis and offset from the first set of holes, and a third set of holes along a third axis and offset from the second set of holes. Each of the first axis, the second axis, and the third axis extends substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the fin. A first offset distance between the second and first set of holes is greater than a second offset distance between the third and second set of holes. The second and the third set of holes define a substantially obtuse trapezoidal matrix.
Heat sink
A heat sink includes a base plate; a cover overlapping the base plate; fins, each having a plate-like shape projecting from the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the base plate, located between the base plate and the cover; one or a plurality of first fin groups composed of a plurality of the fins arranged with a gap therebetween in a first direction; and one or a plurality of second fin groups composed of a plurality of the fins arranged with a gap therebetween in the first direction, and adjacent to the first fin group with a gap therebetween in a second direction. Positions in the first direction of the fins belonging to the second fin group are displaced with respect to positions in the first direction of the fins belonging to the first fin group.
