HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR CONDITIONER

A heat exchanger includes: rows of heat transfer tubes disposed next to one another in an air flow direction; and headers each connected to an end of each of the rows of heat transfer tubes. A center position of an upstream-most header disposed on a most upstream side in the air flow direction among the headers is displaced upstream in the air flow direction from a center position of an upstream-most row of the heat transfer tubes to which the upstream-most header is connected such that the upstream-most header is spaced apart from a row of the heat transfer tubes adjacent to the upstream-most row of the heat transfer tubes.

A heat exchanger includes: a flat tube having a width greater than a thickness of the flat tube; and fins fixed to the flat tube and that each include a plate-shaped fin body. The plate-shaped fin body of each of the fins faces the plate-shaped fin body of an adjacent one of the fins. Each of the fins has a tube receiving opening into which the flat tube is inserted. An edge of the tube receiving opening includes a first longitudinal side edge portion extending in a width direction of the flat tube. The tube receiving opening is in a notch shape that has: an open end on a first side of the first longitudinal side edge portion; and a closed end on a second side of the first longitudinal side edge portion.

REFRIGERATION APPARATUS

A refrigeration apparatus includes: a casing that includes first and second spaces; a heat exchanger housed in the casing and including a heat exchange portion and a header collecting tube. The heat exchange portion includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes through which a refrigerant flows, is disposed in the first space, and causes the refrigerant to exchange heat with an air flow. The header collecting tube is connected to the heat transfer tubes and disposed in the second space. The refrigeration apparatus also includes a wind shielding plate including a wind shielding surface that shields the second space from the air flow, where the header collecting tube includes a header body portion that extends in a longitudinal direction of the header collecting tube, and the wind shielding plate is fixed to the header collecting tube and fixed to the casing or a component disposed in the casing.

HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR CONDITIONER HAVING THE SAME

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes each including a passage for refrigerant that are arranged side by side in a predetermined step direction; and a header collecting pipe extending along the predetermined step direction that is connected to the flat pipes. The header collecting pipe includes: a flat pipe-side header forming member; and an opposite-side header forming member facing the flat pipe-side header forming member. The flat pipes are inserted in the flat pipe-side header forming member and an internal space exists between the flat pipe-side header forming member and the opposite-side header forming member. When viewed along the predetermined step direction: the flat pipe-side header forming member has a flat pipe-side curved portion protruding toward the flat pipes and the opposite-side header forming member has an opposite-side curved portion protruding toward a side away from the flat pipes.

Heat exchanger and air conditioning apparatus

A heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes that are made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and are disposed in multiple tiers in a first direction that intersects a second direction along which a heating medium flows; and a coupling header that couples the heat transfer tubes together. The coupling header includes: a first member that includes a first core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a first sacrificial anode layer; a second member that includes no sacrificial anode layer; and a third member that includes a second core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a second sacrificial anode layer.

INDOOR HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS

An indoor heat exchanger in an indoor unit of an air conditioning apparatus, includes: flat tubes that are juxtaposed in a vertical direction and that each comprise a flow channel that allows refrigerant to pass through an inner portion thereof, and heat transfer fins joined to the flat tubes. The heat transfer fins each include: a first portion that extends continuously in the vertical direction; and second portions that are disposed between the flat tubes. The first portion and the second portions are continuous. 4.0DP/HT10.0 where HT is a height of each of the flat tubes and DP is a pitch of the flat tubes.

Air conditioner with flow direction changing mechanism

An air conditioner includes a header for introducing refrigerant into a plurality of refrigerant tubes provided in parallel in a vertical direction. The header includes a main header chamber extending in the vertical direction and a plurality of sub header chambers branched in the horizontal direction from the main header chamber and provided in parallel in the vertical direction. The main header chamber includes a refrigerant inlet port configured to introduce the refrigerant in a gas-liquid mixing state in a horizontal direction into an inside of the main header chamber; and a flow direction changing mechanism provided to collide with the refrigerant ejected from the refrigerant inlet port, and configured to change a flow direction of the refrigerant from the horizontal direction to the vertical direction.

Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing same

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of members made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a bundling component. The bundling component includes a main body portion having an anchoring portion, and a band portion extending from the main body portion and having a section on an opposite side of a main body portion side anchored in the anchoring portion. The bundling component is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. At least part of the bundling component and at least part of the plurality of members are secured to each other with a brazing material interposed between the parts.

Heat exchanger and air conditioner

A heat exchanger includes: a header; flat tubes disposed in line along a longitudinal direction of the header and connected to the header: a refrigerant pipe connected to an introduction space in the header; and a nozzle. When the heat exchanger operates as an evaporator of a refrigerant, the refrigerant is fed through the nozzle from the introduction space to a supply space disposed adjacent to the introduction space in the longitudinal direction of the header. The nozzle is disposed on a side closer to the flat tubes than to the refrigerant pipe. A width of a first zone in the introduction space on the side closer to the flat tubes is smaller than a width of a second zone in the introduction space on a side where the refrigerant pipe is connected.
