The EHD thruster (105) is configured to generate airflow of ionized air for cooling a heat sink (101). Further, the EHD thruster (105) is electrically isolated from the heat sink (101).

A pressurized infusion device and a liquid cooling system are disclosed. The pressurized infusion device includes a liquid storage tank and a pump. The liquid storage tank has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The first end has a first connecting structure, and the second end has a second connecting structure. The pump is connected with the first end of the liquid storage tank and has a third connecting structure, a first connecting port, a second connecting port, a third connecting port and a fourth connecting port. The third connecting structure corresponds to the first connecting structure. A pump flow channel from the first connecting port to the second connecting port is formed inside the pump, and a bypass flow channel from the third connecting port to the fourth connecting port is also formed inside the pump.

A cooling system for an information handling system comprises a fan with a sunflower type heat exchanger having two heat exchanger bodies separated by a gap and rotationally offset an angle sized such that a fin of the first heat exchanger body is aligned relative to a channel between two adjacent fins of the second heat exchanger body. As airflow flows through channels between adjacent fins of the first heat exchanger body, the air temperature increases. Air exiting the first heat exchanger body mixes with a second airflow entering the gap between the two heat exchanger bodies and the combined airflow is cooler and turbulent for additional heat absorbing capability for improved cooling.

A system includes a matrix material to remove heat from an object. The matrix material includes a plurality of vascular structures. Each of the vascular structures are filled with a fluid. At least one transducer generates field-induced forces into the fluid within the vascular structures of the matrix material. At least one controller pulses the transducer to generate the field-induced forces into the fluid within the vascular structures. The field-induced forces generate fluid flow within the vascular structures to remove the heat from the object.

A well completion to convert a hydrocarbon production well into a geothermal well includes flow tubes to transport a working fluid through the well and a heat exchanger at a downhole location coupled to the flow tubes to exchange heat of the formation at the downhole location with the working fluid. A heat exchange fluid surrounds the heat exchanger at the downhole location to be heated by the formation at the downhole location. The heat exchanger heats the working fluid to a state in which the working fluid rises to the surface. At the surface, a power plant uses the heated working fluid to generate work. The working fluid is then cooled and returned to the downhole location to repeat the work generation cycle.

The fan array fault response control system includes a fan interface configured to be in communication with a plurality of fans of the cooling tower and a processor operably coupled to the fan interface. The processor is configured to detect at least one non-operational fan of the plurality of fans. The processor configured to effect, in response to detecting the at least one non-operational fan, a reduced fan speed of at least one operational fan of the plurality of fans.
COOLING TOWER HAVING THERMALLY MANAGED MOTOR
The present invention is directed to a cooling tower comprising a cooling tower structure comprising fill material supported by the cooling tower structure and configured to receive heated process fluid and a motor mounted to the cooling tower structure. The motor comprises a casing and a rotatable shaft and is sealed to prevent fluids, moisture, foreign particles and contaminants from entering the casing. A fan is connected to the rotatable shaft of the motor. Rotation of the rotatable shaft rotates the fan thereby inducing an upward moving mass flow of cool air through the fill material. A basin is attached to the cooling tower structure for collecting cooled fluid. A fluid distribution system distributes the cooled fluid in the basin. The fluid distribution system comprises a pumping device to pump cooled fluid from the basin, fluid piping to receive the pumped cooled fluid and fluid spray devices fluidly connected to the fluid piping for spraying fluid on the casing of the motor so as to transfer heat of the casing to the fluid.

An electronics cooling system for an aircraft includes a heat exchanger comprising a coolant circuit, an air circuit, and a fuel circuit such that each of the circuits is in thermal communication with at least one of the other circuits. The coolant circuit is in thermal communication with one or more aircraft electronics. The air circuit is in fluid communication with at least one air source. The fuel circuit is in fluid communication with a fuel tank between the fuel tank and an engine of the aircraft.

The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for cooling an automobile component (20) by means of a gas, the apparatus comprising a cooling box (11) with a re-closeable opening (12) for receiving an automobile component (20) to be cooled, wherein at least one heat sink (13) is provided inside the cooling box (11) for cooling of the gas, and wherein the apparatus (10) includes at least one infra sound pulsator (2, 3) arranged to provide an infra sound into said cooling box (11) to improve heat exchange of the gas both with a cooling surface of the at least one heat sink (13), and with the automobile component (20). The invention also relates to a process for cooling an automobile component in such an apparatus.
