A second inlet port, a second outlet port, and a second drain port are coupled with the flexible bag so as to communicate with the second compartment.
Method for controlling heat transfer between a mainly solid base and the ambient medium
Method for controlling heat transfer between a mainly solid base and the ambient medium
This invention belongs to the field of construction of shielding and heat-shielding structures. The technical result is changing the degree of useful effect from the regulation of heat transfer depending on the temperature of the plates of the heat control structure.
In the method for regulating heat transfer between a mainly solid base and ambient medium, one plate (2) or at least two plates (2, 5) stacked in layers and interconnected are installed on base (1) at rest temperature, while at least one (2) of the said plates, when its temperature changes relative to the rest temperature, is capable of deforming so that a cavity is formed between this plate and the base or the plate adjacent in the layer, filled with particles of the ambient medium, and fixation points (3) of plate (2) to base (1) or plate (5) adjacent in the layer are selected so that this plate (2) takes a convex shape during deformation.

Vapor chamber thermal strap assembly and method
A heat transfer system includes a first vapor chamber, a second vapor chamber spaced from the first vapor chamber, and a flexible thermal strap disposed between and coupled to both the first vapor chamber and the second vapor chamber. The flexible thermal strap permits the second vapor chamber to rotate relative to the first vapor chamber.
CORE BODY FOR TRANSFER APPARATUS
A core body includes a structure having a plurality of connected unit cells. At least one unit cell has one or more sidewalls that are curved and define a portion of an inner passageway within and through the unit cell. The one or more sidewalls define multiple orifices and include a cone disposed between at least some of the orifices. A dimple is defined along an outer surface of the unit cell at the cone. The outer surface at least partially defines an outer passageway that is sealed from the inner passageway by the one or more sidewalls. The one or more sidewalls are configured to transport one or more of thermal energy from a first fluid or a component of the first fluid flowing in the inner passageway to a second fluid flowing in the outer passageway without the first fluid mixing with the second fluid.
Compliant composite heat exchangers
A method and apparatus for separating a separation component from a gas stream. One exemplary method includes: flowing the gas stream across a process surface of a compliant composite heat transfer wall, wherein: the gas stream has an initial concentration of the separation component, and the gas stream has a gas temperature; flowing a cooling fluid across a cooling surface of the wall, wherein: the cooling fluid has a fluid temperature, and the fluid temperature is less than the gas temperature; and producing an output gas stream, wherein: the output gas stream has an output concentration of the separation component, and the output concentration is less than the initial concentration. Another exemplary method includes separating at least a portion of the separation component from the gas stream by: accumulating the portion proximate the process surface; and delaminating the portion from the process surface with a flow of the gas stream.
Heat exchanger module and methods of using thereof
The invention provides in one embodiment a heat exchanger module (1) comprising a) a flexible support (100); b) at least one tubular member (200) having its main axis substantially parallel with the plane of the flexible support (100); c) a conductive flexible matrix (300) embedding the at least one tubular member (200); and d) a flexible case (400) enwrapping the flexible support (100), the at least one tubular member (200) and the conductive flexible matrix (300). A coating for a built environment comprising a plurality of heat exchanger modules (1) can be implemented, as well as a system further including pumping means (600). The invention also foresees a method for providing heat exchange processes between the heat exchanger module (1), the coating or the system of the invention and a built environment.
