The present invention includes a body wherein the body is manufactured from neoprene in a preferred embodiment. The body is comprised of a first portion and a second portion and includes an interior volume configured to receive and retain a bat therein. The second portion of the body is hingedly coupled to the first portion and is movable between an open and closed position providing access to the interior volume of the body. The first portion includes a wall forming the cylindrical shape thereof. An alternative embodiment of the present invention includes two identically constructed bodies having a connection member integrally formed therewith and is configured to receive and store two bats.

A protective container for bats that is operable to inhibit damage to the surface of baseball and softball bats and further provide temperature protection for the bats. The present invention includes a body wherein the body is manufactured from neoprene in a preferred embodiment. The body is comprised of a first portion and a second portion and includes an interior volume configured to receive and retain a bat therein. The second portion of the body is hingedly coupled to the first portion and is movable between an open and closed position providing access to the interior volume of the body. The first portion includes a wall forming the cylindrical shape thereof. An alternative embodiment of the present invention includes two identically constructed bodies having a connection member integrally formed therewith and is configured to receive and store two bats.

An apparatus for storing a bat, a bat stand, may comprise a cylindrical body, a base, a ring, and a finger plate. The ring may thread to the top of the body and help secure a finger plate in the interior of the bat stand. The base of the stand may be wider than the body so as to lower the center of gravity and increase the stability of the bat stand. The finger plate may be made of a rubber base supporting a fabric top. The finger plate may have multiple fingers that help to center a bat vertically within the bat stand. In some embodiments, screws secure the ring to the body with the finger plate in between.

An apparatus for storing a bat, a bat stand, may comprise a cylindrical body, a base, a ring, and a finger plate. The ring may thread to the top of the body and help secure a finger plate in the interior of the bat stand. The base of the stand may be wider than the body so as to lower the center of gravity and increase the stability of the bat stand. The finger plate may be made of a rubber base supporting a fabric top. The finger plate may have multiple fingers that help to center a bat vertically within the bat stand. In some embodiments, screws secure the ring to the body with the finger plate in between.
