Back and face panels extend to provide protection for the hosel and ferrule. The wear pad located at the joining point of the base, back, and face panel gives strength to the location where they are attached. An integral anti-slip feature aids head cover security. The invention achieves a positive lock using a mechanism comprised of a tab with a magnetic clasp that prevents the head cover from falling off. A multi-layer binding design with topstitching is implemented.
