A system for protecting a golf club is provided. The system includes a carrier having a first surface and a second surface disposed on an opposite side of the carrier than the first surface. The carrier is selectively movable between a constricted state wrapped around the at least one golf club and a relaxed state. The system also includes at least one sleeve depending from one of the first surface and the second surface and including a first opening disposed at a first end of the at least one sleeve that receives a head of the at least one golf club. The at least one sleeve may be surrounded by the carrier when the carrier is in the constricted state. A fastener may be supported by the carrier to selectively maintain the carrier in the constricted state.

A clip positioned on a flexible member extending from a reel within a housing engages with a club cover. The housing is connected to the golf bag by a bag connector. A plurality of additional housings may be engaged to form a sequential engagement of multiple housings where each has a flexible member which may be connected to a different golf club cover.

The present invention relates to a multipurpose golf equipment device for storing golf equipment and a golf club while golfing. A first end of the body is comprised of at least one cutout that receives a shaft of a golf club when the device is free-standing and is supported by a clip in a kickstand-like manner. When not in the free-standing configuration, the device can be clipped to a golf bag via the clip wherein a headcover can be stored on the first end. The fastener may also allow a user to secure a golf glove to the device.

An improved golf club head cover and hands-free method of use allow a user to hold a golf club normally by the handle with one or two hands while standing substantially upright and slide the golf club head into and out of the head cover while the head cover is sitting on the ground, without the user needing to bend down or touch the head cover. A rigid cover may include a concave main body pivotally connected with one or more rotating components that include tabs that close the rotating components around the golf club head and shaft when the club is inserted securely into the cover. Magnetically attractive and repulsive structures may be included to assist with keeping the cover shut and holding it open. Traction structures are provided to laterally engage grass-covered ground to resist lateral movement during hands-free use.

Implementations of golf club head covers may include a body portion defining an internal cavity for receiving a golf club head, the internal cavity exposed at an opening in the body portion, a flap coupled to the body portion and configured to cover the opening of the body portion, a guide strip coupled to the flap, a strap holder configured to move along the guide strip slidably coupled to the guide strip, and a strap coupled at an end of the strap holder, wherein the strap is configured to secure the flap over the opening through coupling to a front face of the body portion.
