SUPPORT OF HEAT EXCHANGERS MADE OF WOUND TUBES
A heat exchanger, comprising: a tube bundle having at least one tube for receiving a fluid medium, wherein the at least one tube is wound about a core tube which extends along a longitudinal axis, and a first tube section of the at least one tube rests against at least one web which extends along the tube core and at least one first bracket element for securing the first tube section to the at least one web, the at least one first bracket element having a lower face which faces the first tube section and rests against the first tube section. The invention additionally relates to a securing system and to a method.
Heat-dissipating sheet
To provide a heat-dissipating sheet having good close-contact properties with an adherend such as a heat-generating body and being easy to handle. A heat-dissipating sheet includes a heat-dissipating member including a graphite sheet, a first thermally conductive layer, and a second thermally conductive layer stacked in this order. The first thermally conductive layer contains a thermally conductive filler dispersed in a polymer matrix and has an outer shape larger than the graphite sheet when viewed in plan. The second thermally conductive layer contains a thermally conductive filler dispersed in a polymer matrix, is more flexible than the first thermally conductive layer, and has an outer shape identical to or smaller than the first thermally conductive layer when viewed in plan.
Support assembly for finned tube type heat exchangers
A support assembly for attaching a heat exchanger to a frame of a machine. The support assembly including a clip having one or more attachment features for attaching to the frame and a support member disposed between a first fin portion and a second fin portion of the heat exchanger. The support member disposed between the clip and the tube member to at least partially surrounds a perimeter of the tube member and form a seal therewith.
Bumper clip for tube type heat exchangers
A heat exchanger assembly includes a frame, a plurality of tubes, and a first bumper clip attaching at least a first tube of the plurality of tubes to the frame. The first tube defines a first exterior dimension and the first bumper clip defines a first tube slot defining a first tube slot dimension that is less than the first exterior dimension of the at least first tube.
Removable fin heat exchanger systems and methods
The present disclosure relates to a fin heat exchanger, including a header, a set of tubes fluidly coupled to the header, and a mount configured to engage with and disengage from the set of tubes. The mount includes a fin section configured to extend between adjacent tubes of the set of tubes in an engaged mount configuration, and configured to be separated from the set of tubes in an unengaged mount configuration.
HEAT EXCHANGE TUBE AND HEAT EXCHANGER HAVING THE SAME
A heat exchange tube and a heat exchanger are provided. A tube wall of the heat exchange tube includes a first wall and a second wall, a first segment of the first wall includes one of a first groove or a first protrusion, a second segment of the first wall includes one of a second groove or a second protrusion, a first segment of the second wall includes the other one of the first groove or the first protrusion, the first protrusion is arranged in the first groove, the second segment of the second wall includes the other one of the second groove or the second protrusion, and the second protrusion is arranged in the second groove. At least part of each of the first segment and the second segment of the first wall is arranged between the first segment and the second segment of the second wall.
Supercharged air cooling apparatus
The invention, which relates to a device for charge-air cooling, has as its objective to specify a device that can be produced simply and cost-effectively and that ensures reliable functionality. This task is resolved according to the invention thereby that the housing comprises a capping that closes off the housing in which is disposed an inflow and an outflow.
Structurally integral heat exchanger within a plastic housing
A heat exchanger having a core defining a plurality of first fluid flow passages and a plurality of second fluid flow passages arranged in alternating order, and a housing enclosing the core. The housing has a top wall arranged opposite to the top of the core, and a bottom wall arranged opposite to the bottom of the core. A plurality of connecting structures which together provide a rigid connection between the core and the housing, wherein each of the connecting structures provides a connection between the top of the core and the top wall of the housing, or between the bottom of the core and the bottom wall of the housing. Wherein each of the connecting structures has a first connecting element and a second connecting element. The first connecting element is associated with the core and the second connecting element is associated with the housing.
Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing same
A heat exchanger includes a plurality of members made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a bundling component. The bundling component includes a main body portion having an anchoring portion, and a band portion extending from the main body portion and having a section on an opposite side of a main body portion side anchored in the anchoring portion. The bundling component is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. At least part of the bundling component and at least part of the plurality of members are secured to each other with a brazing material interposed between the parts.
CRIMPING FRAME OR CRIMPING BASE
A crimping frame or crimping base for a charge air cooler may include a circumferential raised rim including a plurality of crimping slots. The plurality of crimping slots may each include two longitudinal sides and two narrow sides. The two longitudinal sides may be disposed opposite one another and may extend parallel to the rim. The two narrow sides may be stiffened via a bent reinforcement. The bent reinforcement and the rim may be structured as a single piece.
