As an example, an apparatus includes a hood portion and a body portion. The hood portion includes a distal opening adapted to be positioned around a periphery of a wall-mounted appliance. The hood portion includes a sidewall of a pliant material extending outwardly from a perimeter of the distal opening to terminate in a proximal opening having a perimeter that is spaced apart from and opposing the distal opening. The proximal opening is to provide access to an interior volume of the hood portion corresponding to the sidewall between the first and second openings. The body portion extends from the perimeter of the proximal opening in a longitudinal direction that is substantially transverse to a central axis of the distal opening. An outlet in fluid communication with the body portion is to enable discharge of fluids from an interior volume of the body portion.

AUTOMATIC WASHING APPARATUS FOR HEAT EXCHANGER BUNDLE

An automatic washing apparatus for a heat exchanger is proposed. The automatic washing apparatus is configured to recognize positions of tube holes through a camera, and to automatically wash the tube holes. The automatic washing apparatus is also configured to be able to automatically wash an external bundle and internal tubes of a heat exchanger in accordance with set operation patterns of an external washing module and an internal washing module, and to be able to reuse washing water used for washing a heat exchanger as washing water by reprocessing the washing water.

FLUID FLOW-PATH DEVICE

Provided is a fluid flow-path device with which it is possible to easily perform maintenance that is an operation to remove a foreign substance, which adheres to a member for preventing passage of the foreign material, from the member. This fluid flow-path device is provided with a distribution header including a partition member and a header body disposed in a flow-path formation body. The partition member partitions a distribution space formed by the distribution header into an upstream-side space that communicates with a supply opening provided in the header body, and a downstream-side space that communicates with each of a plurality of flow paths formed in the flow-path formation body. The partition member includes a region that prevents a foreign substance included in a fluid of interest from flowing from the upstream-side space to the downstream-side space while allowing the fluid of interest to flow from the upstream-side space to the downstream-side space. The header body has formed therein an introduction opening that allows a washing fluid to flow into the downstream-side space, and a discharge opening that allows the washing fluid to be discharged from the upstream-side space.

An apparatus for cleaning an HVAC coil unit comprises a supply and collection assembly with a housing defining an interior space for containing a quantity of cleaning solution. A pump has an inlet positioned to be in fluid communication with the cleaning solution and is operative to deliver the cleaning solution to an outlet of the supply and collection assembly in a volume of at least 40 gallons per minute. Fluid return piping defines a conduit to conduct used cleaning solution from the HVAC coil unit back to a collection inlet. A filter assembly is positioned along the fluid return piping to filter the used cleaning solution. A fluid flow device is operative to provide pressure to move a quantity of the used cleaning solution through the fluid return piping. The used cleaning solution is returned to the interior space through the collection inlet during operation of said fluid flow device.

System for facilitating the cleaning of a mini-split air handling unit

A system for collecting waste fluid and debris from cleaning of an air handler mounted in a wall, comprising a one-piece shroud disposable on the air handler assembly, the shroud including a hood portion and a funnel portion connected by left and right sides, the shroud having a front opening and a rear opening between the hood and the funnel; a left bracket and a right bracket having respective left and right flanges disposable between left and right sides of the air handler assembly and the wall; a cinchable drawstring; an upper rib disposed in the hood portion and having hooked ends for engaging slots in the left bracket and the right bracket; and a lower rib disposed in the funnel portion and having hooked ends for engaging slots in the left bracket and the right bracket.

CLEANING METHOD FOR SURFACES IN THE INTERNAL VOLUME OF AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS THROUGH WHICH A MEDIUM FLOWS

A method cleans surfaces in an internal volume of an aircraft component through which a medium flows. The method includes: connecting the internal volume to be cleaned to a steam generator; generating a cleaning steam having a predetermined vapour pressure and temperature by the steam generator; applying the cleaning steam to the surfaces to be cleaned in the internal volume; maintaining the vapour pressure and the temperature within the internal volume for the duration of a predetermined condensation time; generating a pressure drop in the internal volume of the aircraft component, in order to vaporise the portion of the cleaning steam that condensed during the condensation time; and removing the cleaning steam from the internal volume via a discharge device.
