Grounded and vehicular mounted weapons with improved recoil stability

A counter momentum generator is employed on a weapon system to manage horizontal recoil momentum of the weapon system. The counter momentum generator generates a counter momentum which that is not parallel to the recoil momentum. A horizontal component of the counter momentum negates a portion of the horizontal recoil momentum. A vertical component of the counter momentum combines with the vertical recoil momentum to aid in compression between the base of the weapon system and the ground.

BREECH AND METHOD FOR NOISE REDUCTION

A breech for noise reduction in a recoil-less weapon is described. The breech is adapted to be arranged in fluid communication with a launcher of the weapon to release exhaust gas. The breech comprises a venturi tube. The venturi tube has an inlet at a first end adapted to be connected to the launcher, and an outlet for releasing the exhaust gas at a second end, wherein the area of the outlet is larger than the area of the inlet. The venturi tube further comprises an exhaust gas controlling element formed at the venturi tube structure. The exhaust gas controlling element is arranged to control the release of exhaust gas so as to decrease a sound pressure peak at the weapon. The inner envelope surface of the venturi tube is configured, such that the inner envelope surface does not alter or at least has a very small influence on recoil characteristics of the weapon.

Recoilless underwater firearm

The invention relates to recoilless firearms, the gun carriage of which has zero recoil during a shot. The recoilless firearm comprising a gun carriage, a fire control tool, and a barrel, which contains at least a breechblock, a primer-igniter, a propellant charge and a projectile, wherein the barrel is connected to the gun carriage with the possibility of movement in the gun carriage during a shot under the impact of the propellant gas on the breechblock. The barrel is provided with a possibility of disconnecting from the gun carriage before the shot. The fire control tool is connected to the barrel and provides the barrel displacing in the gun carriage for carrying out the shot, and the breechblock is equipped with a firing mechanism, which acts on the primer-igniter when the barrel is displaced in the gun carriage. The invention provides safety of a shot via the guaranteed elimination of recoil during a shot, and also increases the efficacy of neutralizing large targets due to the applicability of high-impulse ammunition when shooting under the water, shooting from the air into the water, shooting in the air and also in weightlessness in the open space.
