DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LAUNCHING A PROJECTILE
A handheld device for launching a projectile and methods of use thereof are herein disclosed. The device includes an elongated shaft, a sling retaining member, and a sling. A portion of the sling slidably couples with the sling retaining member such that it uncouples, in use, when the elongated shaft is swung. The device can be used, in lieu of a golf club, to play the sport of golf in a unique manner.
Magnus Effect Cylindrical Projectile and Launcher
The present invention is a toy launcher system. A lightweight projectile has an exterior surface symmetrically disposed about an imaginary longitudinal axis and is generally spool-shaped. The launcher is composed of a shaft to which a flexible curled band is attached. The flexible curled band holds the projectile within its curvature. When the launcher is rotated by a user using a general throwing motion the band uncurls, thereby launching the projectile into flight.
SLINGSHOT FOOTBALL
A launching and/or catching toy kit has a football and at least one associated slingshot. The football includes a generally elongated spheroidal body, a support non-movably attached to the body, a tail, a first and a second elastic band hook oppositely disposed, and a lift-generating wing. The slingshot is configured to launch the football from a first user to a second user. The slingshot includes a handle and a pair of prongs connected and/or extending from the handle top. At least one elastic band is connected to each prong. Each of the at least one elastic bands are releasably captured by their respective first or second elastic band hook on the football during launching by the first user. When two slingshots are available, the users can shoot and catch the football between each other allowing for a game of catch.
Safe launcher-projectile assembly for pets
This disclosure describes a launcher and a projectile for fetch games with pets. The launcher, in certain implementations, may be used to pick up and launch the projectile that has a core to engage with a head of the launcher. Same size cores may be used in projectiles of different sizes, appearances, shapes, and materials (for different pets) such that a common launcher can be used.
THROWING CLUB WITH COUNTERWEIGHT AT HANDLE THEREOF
A throwing club with a counterweight at a handle thereof includes a rod portion, the handle, and a ball holder. A first end of the rod portion is connected to the handle. The ball holder is arranged on a second end of the rod portion. An anti-releasing ring is arranged on the handle. A first slip-proof shell and a second slip-proof shell are arranged on an outer side of the handle. A streamlined casing for improving a comfort during gripping is arranged on an inner side of the handle. The counterweight is arranged inside an end of the handle away from the rod portion. The throwing club is of a simple structure and a skillful and reasonable design. The design of the anti-releasing ring on the handle can prevent the throwing club from being thrown out of the hand during the throwing process.
Arrow golf apparatus and method
An arrow golf system has a bow having a bowstring, an arrow having a shaft with a ball on one end with a fletching and a string nock on an opposite end, a starting location, a finishing location, and a capturing apparatus at the finishing location. A player shoots the arrow from the starting location with the bow, to a second location closer to the finishing location, retrieves the arrow at the second location, and shoots the arrow toward the capturing apparatus from the second location.
Slingshot football
A launching and/or catching toy kit has a football and at least one associated slingshot. The football includes a generally elongated spheroidal body, a support non-movably attached to the body, a tail, and a first and a second elastic band hook oppositely disposed.
THROWER BOARD WITH MAGNETIC SPUR AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A spear-throwing apparatus including a spear-thrower with a magnet spur, the projecting end of which extends substantially along the body of the spear-thrower. The spear-thrower may contain a recessed loading groove to receive a spear shaft (projectile) that has a socket with a metallic element embedded in it to receive the magnet spur. During use, the magnetic spur connects magnetically to the embedded metal element to join the spear-thrower and the spear shaft with enough force to be suspended without a need for force or pressure from a practitioner.
ADAPTED FITNESS EQUIPMENT
An exercise apparatus includes an adjustable frame being attachable to an assistive ambulation device. The adjustable frame includes removable handles, fitting arms located on a lower portion of the adjustable frame to receive a fitness attachment, and attachment points on located on the lower portion of the adjustable frame to couple a resistance device. A jump rope trainer includes a handle; flexible tubing including a handle fastener to connect the handle to the flexible tubing; and a soft sphere shaped object. The flexible tubing includes a soft sphere shaped object fastener to connect the soft sphere shaped object to the flexible tubing.
PET TOY
A pet toy includes a first section, a second section and a slide lock. The first section has a distal end and a proximal end, and a handle disposed at the proximal end. The second section has a distal end and a proximal end, and a gripper disposed at the distal end. The proximal end of the second section is pivotally attached to the distal end of the first section to form a hinge. The slide lock is configured to slide along at least one of the first and second sections so as to overlie the proximal end of the second section and the distal end of the first section to cover the hinge, locking the hinge and prohibiting pivotal movement between the first section and the second section.
